Bying distribution rights can be profitable or not... I don't know (yet) who got the distribution rights for Toxic in the Hindi belt... it may get difficult with Jio Studios as a distritution competitor... maybe the Hindi distributor will start in a subdued way waiting what WOM (about Dhurandhar 2) will be and then react accordingly... we will see.

Anyways, it's Jio/Dhar who chose the date despite knowing that Toxic was to release the same date.

Its definitely the most discussed movie in the Southern India atp....

no...Dhurandhar 1...after the Netflix release of the dubbed versions, South India has gone berserk....Many South Indians understand Hindi but many more don't...And Netflix release helped the movie reach out to more non Hindi speakers...
