Maira’s reaction on hearing Maa is ott. Can’t sympathise with her. Last gen I used to feel bad for when Aaru used to breakdown coz Goenkas were partial for Ak and made her feel inferior. Here Maira had an entire family keeping her on their head. Loving parents who always gave in to her demands and tantrums. So her being jealous of Vani who literally had nothing never made sense. And the fact that she’s still holding onto the hate and jealousy even after 8 years shows Armoron gave her the worst upbringing. She’s a problematic kid and sorry she’s no where a “victim”
Agreed, as i already said that I do feel bad for her not having mother and also I am liking her a bit due to her styling. But this whole trauma thing is bit too much. She has a loving family and obsessed papa jo usko sar pe chadha ke rakhte hai , I get her anger and hate for abhira but trauma so much so that you start behaving frantically is over the top for sure .
On the other hand I see vaani / mukti tensed about her future leaving aside everything she suffered. The girl literally saw her father getting killed through the pendrive video. She saw her father being accused as a criminal on news channel . Her mother ended her life in front of her , just leaving a letter. She was left to live with absolute strangers like abhira and poddar family. Meher tried to kill her twice and little girl was absolutely terrified not even able to speak for many days at poddar house. Vidya chudail who insulted her , scolded her every now and then. Upar se maira was jealous of her making things more difficult. She was made to feel like a burden , so much so that she left the house finding an anath aashram.
I think trauma is only patent for billi and billi ka baccha. At the end maira ko sab kuch mil jayega as doormat will run back to her pati dev at the first possible chance , it will only be vaani who will be left alone .
