She doesn’t want to admit that Tulsi didn’t even fight for Mihir because it makes him and by extension her success in trapping him in her web, a useful and worthless exercise.

She doesn’t wanna admit that the so-called ‘prize’ in this imaginary contest between the two women aka Mihir also doesn’t give two hoots about her. Her existence is as irrelevant to him as she’s to Tulsi as a person as well. She’s defining her worth based off of her obsessions with the reactions she can evoke out of the two people, who don’t even spare her a thought.

She refuses to acknowledge that in the 6 years she has been with Mihir under one roof, he has never so much as spared a glance at her voluntarily, certainly not one filled with something akin to fondness he did as a friend at least or even basic respect.

She would rather endure this constant humiliation than admit defeat because that means she wasted not just these 6 years of her life waiting for a miracle to happen, which she was sure would take place once she got Mihir all to herself under a roof, but also her whole adult life. She destroyed her marriage for a man who had blissfully forgotten her very existence and was happy in his life with a woman he loved, who loved him back and gave him a family that he cherishes too.

She’s made sure she has no family to call her own besides a sister and a niece as well. Both of them will bail if she doesn’t have money either or the promise of it.

Bold - that’s sad. Normally I would’ve felt bad, but she’s so bad that I don’t even feel bad

Ajay also has some scores to settle with Noyona. To impress Mihir she broke long association with Parekh family's businesses and humiliated them. He should help Tulsi is completing the order and defeat Noyona.

Yes, him failing in business, losing his shares and Damini also leaving him have made more bitter and blame his parents, but his childhood wounds never healed from how the makers are showing

This isn’t entirely about childhood issues. Children don’t talk about property though they feel slighted if they think their sibling got more things than they did.

Here Gautam is making it sound as if he got nothing. Shobha has clearly bust that claim.

His claims regarding his parents neglecting him aren’t wrong or even unfounded but to blame them for everything wrong in his life is also taking things a bit too far IMO. Besides, he thinks Karan hogged all the attention and love of their mother - well he’s been abroad now for ages even at the onset of the show and is so at this point as well. I understand that Tulsi herself was away from SN for 6 years without any whereabouts regarding her, so that’s time when his mom chose to distance herself from everyone in the family.
But what about before that? What stopped him from going to SN and living there with his parents when Karan himself was gone too?

We don’t know who left when and for where under which circumstances, but no one would’ve stopped him from coming home.

If Tulsi knows everything about Karan it’s not just owing to Karan himself but his wife too who chose to keep Tulsi actively in the loop regarding their lives. Who even expressed a desire to return and come back to SN. If Damini doesn’t reach out to Tulsi about Gautam and their kids, what’s going on, is it entirely Tulsi’s fault too? Had she tried too hard or too much she would’ve been accused of being interfering and being unable to let her adult son be with his wife and kids. If she lets go, she’s blamed for being negligent. Is there anyway to win this?

I can’t feel bad for her because given her obsession with Mihir, she definitely knew everything about him and so it stands to reason she knew of his 8 children. Even the one biologically born to another woman considers only Tulsi as his mother.

A man doesn’t have 8 kids with a woman he hates for sure! Not even if nearly half of them are adopted!

Due to this overconfidence they start doing things that directly or indirectly bring the leads closer. Here also Noyona thinks that by keeping Mihir and Tulsi away from each other for six years, she has won. But the fact is separation from Tulsi has made Mihir realize her importance in his life. When Tulsi was with him he took her for granted. When she left him, he started realising his mistakes. Earlier Noyana atleast had Mihir's friendship and well wishers in Virani family. Now she has nothing. So while Noyona thinks she is the winner, in reality she is a big loser and Tulsi will defeat her again and again

That’s because shows follow the same age old formula that even movies do, even now.

They make it seem like a person who is a catch is supposed to be shown worth fighting over and only the one worthy of this prize will win this contest.

But, if you ask me this whole concept is flawed and dumb. Fine, a person can be too attractive, talented, rich etc. to have multiple admirers. Now that their looks, intellect or status has been established as the most important thing about them, let’s move forward and take it to their personalities.

A jerk who wants to make the most of their USP will capitalise it and won’t be worth fighting over for with anyone as they’re hardly the sort to ever settle for too long. It’s a myth and a fantasy to think you can reform a Casanova or a serial dater.

The really nice one who comes across as the sort to ge monogamous and family oriented will likely have made their decision at some point and once they pick one person, they tend to stick to them. So what’s the point of fighting over someone who’s going to be emotionally unavailable to you no matter what?

You can force your way into someone’s life; predators force themselves onto other people’s bodies… but you can’t ever force your way into someone’s heart. So what’s the point of indulging in this madness?

Loving an unavailable person is a tragedy. Refusing to accept that reality is foolishness.

You can’t help the former but you have to intentionally choose the latter.
