I tried to write the same in veil wala story that Riya was angry cause she thought in that moment that arjun wanted her that injured so what's the point of working in etf. It was also very hyper with her being very alone in that physical condition

If Riya isn't that physically injured but she can be emotionally scarred that arjun sir was right I got injured my team could have been hurt. So she wants to work behind desk, Arjun and her fight where she says he shouldn't interfere he's not the boss and he says she proved him that she's weak. Lots of hurtful words and how they come back from that . And eventually riya feels ready enough - maybe arjun trains her again, and she is like I want to work in field

Riya shifting to Etf research desk job on 5th floor of etf building.. Arjun barging into her office, picking her up, putting on his shoulders, walking out to etf office like a king and whole etf building getting sadma for life... Rathore be like arjun in love is lethal to the world don't know how riya will handle this version of arjun and all....

So the question is if that's mentor mentee relationship or arjun likes Riya. Then Rathore can have his "she's my junior my sister I won't allow you nearby" drama

Love being complicated yeah I think she was asking about her feelings for someone like Arjun. But what if she was having some volatile relationship offscreen lol that would have good chance of coming back. Maybe jealous psycho ex or someone manipulative

Haha exactly. Considering the friction between Arjun Rathore - there’s scope for good comedy in between the seriousness of their work.

I don’t remember Arjun Roshni flashbacks very well but that makes sense. I think Arjun was so emotionally constipated all the time that I remembered Roshni being the one to explain feelings to him lol. She fell first he fell harder is so fun to read. Riya knowing her feelings and being at peace with them but they’re like an old wound which hurts sometimes. Then Arjun realises he’s had feelings all this time but they’re overwhelming and now he’s unable to cope.

my only thing is that when Riya has a soft spot for Arjun, she often lets him get away with too much in some stories which frustrates me.

I need to read a good romance haha. All my recent reads have been bad.

I don’t think Arjun should like her or at least he doesn’t know that he likes her. It makes it more interesting if he thinks he’s just doing it as a favour or whatever XYZ reason he gives himself.
Makes his drama with Rathore more interesting too. Shee and Chotu thinking why only Riya in the corner but also glad they’re not in between Arjun Rathore’s fight lol.

Riya’s personal life was a blank slate in the show.
I think they had the dialogue because they wanted to hint about the Arjun Riya love story but I always thought it’d be more interesting if something else was going on. Complicated relationship, ex, bad divorce for herself/family member/ friend, etc, etc. There are so many reasons people have different perspectives on love. Everyone has something going on in their personal lives - good or bad. I like the stories where the FL has her own problems separate to the ML and he becomes a support rather than the hero to save her.

Also, what about a cat that hates Arjun? I’ve read stories with dogs but never a cat 😂
I want Riya to have a cat who isn’t affectionate apart from when he/she is with Riya in front of Arjun. Hissing at Arjun lol

I think ml changing only for fl is a great trope + he behaves nicely with others. The whole appeal of bad boy stories lol

I don't see Rathore as villain too. His grief and we know Arjun can be so stubborn. So Rathore was probably like Arjun not giving any shit to his dead wife and Rathore got even more hurt and angry.

Mostly in stories Riya keeps her feeling hidden and slowly arjun loves her too but I think if she propose first and is like apko wapas ana hoga koi intezar kar raha hai, and arjun subconsciously also thinks someone is waiting for him.he gives that right slowly. I think when someone proposes as written many times in romantic novels there is a tension. I think a woman confessing love is so. Elite

Imagine Riya from raw /ib she's just a work freak no social life and she hated going to undercover in etf.maybe she's Raghu sir's family. So she calls him whines regarding etf. She really tries to be quiet etf it doesn't happen . She's just going through in etf crossing off days cause her intersted assignment maybe israel something will only happen if she completes etf

So when her mask is off imagine she being crying sad then suddenly her face changes is like yeah raw here what will you do now Arjun Rawte 🤣 i think the actors would have so much fun

Omg.... Yes... I think Riya's character has more depth and vision.. She is like salt in etf team. Invisible but without her everything is incomplete.. It's so great for itv to show woman working with 4 male officers and making her place... If written well Riya will be one of the best characters we ever witnessed

Lol that’s why I went with a cat. I read a book years ago with a ML who was similar to Arjun. The FL had a pet cat who was very hostile to the ML and the cat was basically the character who made the ML grovel. It was very satisfying to read.
