Ansh track which was initially for 3 months got extended to few months.. irrespective of audience feedback and their hatred for Ansh..
Irrespective of audience feedback, Pari track was main focus in Kyunki S2.. She did bad to everyone.. So, why can’t Gautam do the same? Just because he and Shobha are biological children of Mihir Tulsi doesn’t mean they don’t have grudge against their parents..
I don’t see Gautam become as evil as his brother Ansh was..
WORD!
Ansh made Gautam look like a kid throwing a tantrum who just needs to be tired out
For all his faults, he was never evil. He was egotistical, stubborn and arrogant, selfish at times but he never crossed a line with Damini or Ganga even though when he married them he had no feelings for them but could have certainly exercised his rights as a husband and approached them to consummate their marriage. Ganga was his wife because he felt he would be denied a share in the Virani property so you could even say he treated her well even though he cheated on her for that reason. But Damini, he legit trapped her into marrying him for revenge against Karan and even she never once felt insecure in Gautam’s presence as far as I recall when they were alone in their room every night while she was helping Karan sabotage the Virani Industries briefly as she’d found out what Gautam did.
Tells us a lot about his character.
Ansh couldn’t even manage to make Nandini feel safe with him for half an hour after having the first opportunity to have her alone in his bedroom on their wedding night. She ran and locked herself up in the bathroom and stayed there for the whole night. All because he gave himself away by presenting her a gift. The gift was a dress Nandini had once liked at a store, Ansh was stalking her. Nandini had the salesperson keep that dress aside so she could check out more items in that store and then collect all the items she shopped for together at the same time.
By the time she reached the billing counter to pay for her shopping, she found out someone had already paid for her dress, the only thing she liked enough to buy at that store. She got surprised and wondered who paid for her and then she saw Ansh standing outside the store beside his car. He looked proud like he got the Taj Mahal built or something for her. Nandini obviously got angry at his audacity. She then asked the store manager to hand her the dress and asked for a pair of scissors. She walked up to Ansh and tore that dress right in front of him and threw it at his face.
Ansh gifted her that dress on her wedding night wrapped up with a gift wrapping paper in a box. Nandini and I daresay even the audience had forgotten about that dress by then. So it was a surprise to see it and then Ansh asks her to wear it for him since now he’s her husband and can give her gifts. This is the first thing that he wants to give her and see her wear as his wife on their wedding night so he can take it off of her later.
I genuinely can’t remember a scene with Gautam that’s half as traumatising, disgusting and absolutely nerve wracking to watch as a woman in all his time on Kyunki.
And we all know what Ansh eventually went onto do to Nandini as well as how he had no remorse, hesitation or guilt about having Vishal killed. Vishal, who happened to be the husband of his elder sister Shobha. Not to forget he had almost hit Tulsi in that hotel lobby in Switzerland too.
For all his arguments with Tulsi, Gautam to his credit never tried to hit his mother, even before he knew she was his mother.
