I will point out one thing here. As per Mannat Vikrant rejected his baby only not DK’s.

If you recall their conversation before going to search Shruti. She clearly told DK what’s the use of trying to mend ways? If he is not believing me but photos shown by Vish. Or should I wait if he accuses that this baby is not his but yours and this I will not be able to tolerate. So for Mannat he rejected their baby only and sent Divorce papers so she will not come for property with their kid(MU created by Malla).

Her fear is that he will hurt Dua the same way he hurt her. And her anger at him for rejecting their kid not because he believes kid is DK’s.

And see she was even going to send him message about her pregnancy and think for their baby but DK told her to send voice note instead 😡. She couldn’t sent it because of Shruti’s death😢

And if you recall her dream Vikrant taking Dua away. See deep down she fears that being a father Vikrant does have a right on Dua and he might take her away and she will be all alone 😢.

One more thing her anger at him for thinking that she moved on with DK proving his allegations true😢.

Thank you Trupti - I never felt pre-leap Vik went as far in his CA Mannat to think he believed the baby was DK’s - he rejected her & his own baby . I couldn’t remember the conversations to back this impression ( as I still haven’t had the heart to watch the episodes) but you have written them well.

I am saying this because they cannot hire such a small baby, so they might have hired a grown up baby for the FB. The intent of the scene atleast I interpreted was to highlight the fact DK is on the BC and Vikrant will go ballistic once he knows Dua is his daughter creating trouble for Mannat for lying on something as critical as BC.

There were two scenes, Mannat in hospital having just given birth and DK bringing baby to her ….Ronnie comes in at the end saying fathers name is needed for the BC, but then scene cuts off.

Next scene was older crying baby and DK in control with nurse- baby looked 12-18months old at the end of which Mannat tells Ronnie to write DKs name. So clearly a time lapse…..and tying in with Mannat suffering postnatal depression.

Betty - that convo of tearing up the BC was odd, he didn’t say anything about Vik being the bio father…they just talked about their ‘friends only’ relationship - what’s that got to do with the BC?

Might be possible and I might have just missed something but I am confused about Mannat's post natal depression and where you noticed this.

Are we assuming this because of the little older baby where DK had all those dialogues showing he was caring for the baby which led Mannat to write his name on BC?

Yes - in that scene Mannat seemed overwhelmed with the unsettled baby…and DK talked about the older baby’s full routine, including feed times etc which he can only know if he was involved in night feeds too. If they aren’t a married couple Mannat mustn’t have been able to cope to need help with night feeds?

I’m going to watch the segment again in a while.

You confused me further Shazia, so you are saying they got married aswell ?

The way I interpreted the scene was to show how they got DK's name on BC which might play a role in future track is what I was thinking especially with that weird, I will tear the BC dialogue 🤔
