It becomes easier to understand a character's motive if one see it from his/her point of view, instead of our own. If Dharya was around as a father figure, Dua must have called him Baba without anyone prodding her to say that -- where is the lie in that. That statement as well as Mannat deciding to put Dharya's name as father on the certificate -- both can be true.

Blue Not sure I agree, babies learn words from being taught or hearing from language used around them, so toddler Dua wouldn’t have known to use the word Baba unless that label was given to DK for her to use by the others. There isn’t another child to follow suit from, or anyone else called Baba already 😂 Just as she’s been told RoTu are to be called Nani/Nanu 😂 though here she knows I think, they aren’t Mannat’s real parents.

But it’s writers wanting to elongate the MU and for Vik’s redemption that he won’t automatically step into a vacant role in Dua’s life (like Anirudh did Mannat’s) but will have to earn being a father, that than just useful for his sofa deed.

Looks like the production house has good budget now, they are continuously doing outdoor shoots 😂.

If they shoot in SM and Mezbani the audience will easily find out that it is old story with new faces so they changed the location to show some difference.

Just to increase the number of episodes, the writers seem unable to hold the story together and even the linking arcs are now vanishing. What was established post leap is being reversed repeatedly, with characters changing their stance and narratives episode after episode. Vik being portrayed as Dua’s father shows no emotional connection at all. Neetu has suddenly started walking as if she was never bedridden for last 7 years. DK, Mannat, and Vik repeat the same dialogues in every episode. Y is doing exactly what Malla has been doing manipulating Vik by showing fake concern and sympathy. The M and Y meeting is exactly how Malla approached Mannat during her wedding preparations with the same excuses so that she stay away from Vik. At this point, the writing is extremely poor and not making sense. It feels like everyone is saying the same things on a loop every day and the writing team keeps forgetting its own lines. Khichdi ki bhi khichdi ho gayi hai. It’s not about moving the story at jet speed but at least maintaining a workable pace where the narrative doesn’t lose consistency. Right now, it’s confusing and repetitive. I really hope the direction improves and we get to see ManVik in the same frame soon, because at present the story isn’t holding ground at all. They are not even using their USPs.

You nailed it especially this one "Khichdi ki bhi khichdi ho gayi hai" everything is stagnated & not stagnated with ManVik and they seem to be too scared to even reveal 1 truth from pre-leap

What is the lie in that? They are acting as per their version of the truth they currently hold to.

And kids can be corrected from younger age on who is dad and who is not. In joint families there are many male figures, kids don't call everyone dad naa?

First, Dua is Dua, not other kid, and it is not a joint family set up, and according to their truth, the father is not absent but disowned the mother and his child. As I said before also, it is this character's choice. And Why would they correct? None of the elders had a problem with the set up. They would have revealed her the real truth when she was old enough to understand that.

Here they planned for this so it didn't bother them much , so giving the name of Babaji wanted this to happen or Dua herself called DK baba is a way to appease herself she is not lying again is what I felt.

Where is the plan? I don't see any ulterior motive? As I said, she called him Baba, and he was happy to fulfil that role. He has every intention to fulfil that role till he die.

About Vikrant, we know the truth, not those characters in Indore.

If they had told Dua the truth that Dharya is not your father, what should they have answered if she asked them about him? He is dead. He refused to marry your mother. He refused to accept you. He threw us out from his house.

Shazia, this show is all about divine interventions 😂, so I would like to believe that Dua chose to call him Baba without anyone prodding. 😂.

No doubt in this serial all hidden truth/seceret will always used against the FL lead and also in the favour of villians

Daman, I think it has more to do with longer episodes .... I believe from Tuesday, things will move at good speed.
