This Pari doesn’t deserve this. If this Ranvijay didn’t turn out to be abusive, Pari would’ve not even missed her mother

Tulsi ka dialogue garima ko ye nhi lagna chahiye shadi mein aurat ko maar khani padti hai was so eloquent

So who gave bail for rv? Was it mitali or suchu? Or dev?

😱 how could you ask this? Suchu? How can an AI rendered imaginary character who has no clue beyond saying Di get someone out on bail?

That would require for her to be a real person!

I guess it’s hard to understand unless you are born into it. They are basically raised in such environment since childhood or they have seen cousins marrying since childhood, so it becomes normalized for them. It depends on the family culture too. Like my mom’s side of the family hardly has any cousin marriages but my father’s side of the family has a lot. It’s sad, annoying & irritating to see

I think it’s Noina. We already saw him call her in the precap.

I don't think marriage happens between children of maasis. it happens between cross cousins not parallel cousins

No, there’s a difference between how we name relations. Mamu in Hindi is what we call Mama or the likes of it in South India. Mamu /Mama as in mother’s brother. It’ll also refer to Bua’s husband. There’s no culture of marrying mother’s brother afaik.
There’s also a culture of referring to one’s husband also as ‘ Mama’ but that’s only for one language.

@b: I’m not sure how to express the relation. What I meant was Father’s big brother’s son/daughter or Father’s Sister’s son/daughter. I guess it’ll be Tai-Maa if I am not wrong. Maasi is mother’s sister right? Then I’m sorry I was wrong.

I liked today's episode. As usual I liked Tulsi the mostsmiley1 - her character, her screen presence, and the sheer calm authority she brings. The way she delivers her dialogues, especially those pauses between lines, adds so much weight to what she says. Her composed demeanor, quiet confidence, and emotional restraint make her presence powerful without being loud or preachy. The episode opening with Tulsi and her team winning genuinely made me happy and it set the tone well.

Noyona, on the other hand, seems to be living in a bit of a delusion. Yes, PR and marketing can help a business grow but only up to a certain point. Once customers begin to experience the actual quality of the clothes, or start comparing them with Tulsi’s sarees, the gap becomes obvious. Branding can attract people once; quality is what keeps them. In the long run, there’s no way marketing alone can help her win against a product that is genuinely superior.

That said, the Mihir - Noyona conversation was enjoyable. Mihir, honestly, is a character 😂. While I absolutely do not want Tulsi to return to Mihir, I can’t deny that post leap he has become unintentionally funny and the biggest Tulsi fanboy. The way he openly cheered for her during the presentation, and then told Noyona he wasn’t happy about Tulsi winning (only to immediately do a happy little dance in his closed room once she left) was hilarious and oddly endearing.

The Munni-Rithik scenes didn’t quite sit right with me. I could clearly sense that Munni still has lingering feelings for Rithik, and Rithik possibly reciprocating them to some extent (This is my opinion). While helping each other professionally is one thing, their personal conversation after the work related discussion felt forced and awkward. That emotional angle isn’t working for me, it felt unnecessary and slightly uncomfortable rather than organic.

What truly elevated the episode were the Tulsi - Pari, Pari - Angad scenes. Angad’s taunting of Pari - exactly like a typical sibling while still showing concern was portrayed very naturally. It felt real and relatable. But the standout moment was Tulsi’s conversation with Pari. Tulsi explaining that Pari must fight not just for herself, but for her child, was incredibly powerful. Her point that a child growing up watching a father abuse a mother may start believing that all marriages end in abuse is painfully true.

That dialogue was beautifully written and deeply relevant. Tulsi stating that this is Pari’s fight, and that while others can support her, she has to stand up for herself, was honest and empowering without being preachy. In real life too, children raised in toxic marriages often carry trauma, distorted ideas of relationships, and fear that shapes their future choices. Normalizing abuse directly or indirectly leaves scars that last far beyond childhood. That entire scene felt grounded, responsible, and emotionally mature.

And finally, Ranvijay getting arrested was the absolute cherry on top. Though, I won’t lie I would’ve enjoyed the episode even more if Pari had managed to slap that abuser with her chappal before the police took him away.

Overall, it was a really good episode and I genuinely enjoyed it. Strong writing, meaningful conversations, and moments that felt both entertaining and socially relevant and the part I liked the most was the conversation between Tulsi and Pari - it was impactful, truthful, and handled with sensitivity.

I stopped watching upma after Majboor and Upma adopted a child and what disturbed me deeply was how the adopted child who was clearly in emotional distress kept getting sidelined by upma, while she continued to prioritize her grown-up children. She was constantly running around to serve them chai, burgers, and emotional reassurance, as if their needs mattered more than those of a child who actually required presence, care, and stability. That contrast felt insensitive and poorly justified.

What made it worse was upma’s complete lack of self-respect when it came to the Shah house. Time and again, she kept going back to the same house of abusers even after being openly humiliated, insulted, and literally asked to leave. Despite being thrown out emotionally and verbally, she kept returning as if nothing had happened. There were no boundaries, no dignity, and no accountability. Watching her repeatedly walk back into the same toxic space made the show’s so called empowerment narrative feel hollow and contradictory.

The repeated “naya safar” announcements only add to the frustration. Every time upma claims she is moving forward, she eventually crash-lands right back at the feet of Baa and Bapuji - the very people who have belittled, controlled, and emotionally abused her for years. Instead of showing real growth, the show glorifies endurance and self erasure, dressing submission up as strength. Over time, this cycle kind of feels exhausting, regressive, and emotionally manipulative.

That said, there is no comparison between upma and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi - both shows are different and good in their own ways. In my opinion, Season 1 of KSBKBT is exceptionally strong, and Season 2 is good as well.

What really works in KSBKBT’s favor is its narrative discipline. For the most part, the show knows when to move a track forward and when to give it closure. There is very little unnecessary chillam-chilli, and tracks aren’t stretched endlessly just to keep episodes running. Story lines progress with intent, reach emotional closure, and then move on.

The only clear exception is the last leap of Season 1, which felt slightly disconnected from the strong emotional build up that came before it.

Another major strength of KSBKBT is Tulsi’s characterization. She is strong without being preachy and isn’t constantly delivering four page moral lectures. Her strength comes through her actions and restraint, making her resilience feel authentic.

Overall, while upma feels stuck in a loop of recycled trauma and performative sacrifice, KSBKBT remains structured, emotionally grounded, and narratively disciplined.

Apologies for the comparison on the forum - I just felt like sharing my thoughts.
