Couldnât reply earlier because of the limit being newbie!
itâs always been about mihir and what he feels - at times itâs entitlement of being correct or simply being the man.. at another itâs about being the victim of circumstances (doesnât matter he himself created those circumstances) at yet another times itâs being remorseful like now but even then, itâs not about correcting his actions! Rather itâs - Iâm so done with everything and everyone! He never owns his responsibilities or his own actions!
Even in the next few episodes I feel he will mess up by trying to help Tulsi win the competition! He wonât even think- would Tulsi want that! He will do it because HE WANTS TO!
No issues about taking your time to reply.
The thing with Mihir is that heâs the first born of a first born. This goes back to the roots as Mihir was always an adored child as he was the first grandchild of Baa Bapuji. Amongst the cousins he was the smartest when it came to education too, I mentioned just a couple of pages ago how Chirag felt so overwhelmed and inferior in comparison for failing repeatedly while his dad cited Mihir as an example as he was smart enough to go abroad and study. His younger brothers and sisters also looked up to him.
Mihir has been a good grandson, son and brother. But he has time and again failed as a husband and father. Unfortunately, Mihir has been unable to comprehend that his perfection, as his family, made him believe doesnât extend to all spheres of his life. He may have been a model grandson, son and brother; he was an exemplary student but he hasnât excelled as a husband and father.
Now with time and age, he has effectively donned the hat of the patriarch of the family too, thus he doesnât really have people calling him out on his problematic behaviour and decisions either. They literally had to keep Daksha alive and bring her back for one episode to have someone literally slap him for cheating on Tulsi again.
Amongst all the children he has with Tulsi, ironically the only child who came to even fight for Tulsi with Mihir was Karan. Karan isnât even Tulsiâs biologically! Heâs literally her stepchild who fought with his biological dad as he was enraged on her behalf.
Amongst Tulsiâs own children - Shobha has been trying to get her parents back together again as if nothing major happened and what her mom suffered doesnât matter. Pari is ashamed and guilty. Hrithik, Angad never have once said anything to Mihir. Gautam and Harsh didnât even show up. Ansh is dead and I doubt he wouldâve cared had he been alive and around either about Tulsi.
Thatâs literally 1 child out of 8 who confronted Mihir and asked him what was he thinking. How could he do this to Tulsi. Imagine that. The only one with a valid excuse is Ansh
When someone is raised to believe in their superiority it becomes difficult for them to believe and accept their faults and mistakes. And it gets worse when no oneâs there to correct them or with an authority to punish them or the gall to challenge them.
Mihir had all this going. Itâs what made him hate the fact that Tulsi challenged him and his decisions. Noina played the humble supportive friend and he didnât even realise that he was nurturing a snake.
Daksha disappeared and Mihir is sulking now because heâs aware heâs wrong but heâs also done something so monumentally wrong that he canât even seek help or guidance from the one elder of the family whoâs around - Gayatri. Not that her advice is worth much, given that she was team Noina and is also responsible for this mess.
