What izzat are they even talking about. About a few weeks ago everyone in the mohalla was against them. Gopal was kicked out of his own shop and humiliated. Pushpa was constantly insulted by the women in the mohalla and they even had her arrested. All of these people were character assassinating their daughter even when there was nothing wrong that she did.

so really what izzat and saman do they have . Only recently that they have started earning money do the people respect them .Moreover the only reason they are earning money is their daughter. Not only does she have An high paying job but also she was the reason they were able to get out of the shop burning wala mess and expose the shop owner. These 2 had given up all hope and were behaving like hum toh garib and lachar hai. Not to mention all the drama that Gopal was doing at that time ( instead of actually being the man of the house he relied on his wife and daughter to sort out his mess and now that his daughter has gotten into a relationship saari mardaangi bahar aa rahi hai )

Also people blaming anu for not taking a stand for Arya yesterday is just absurd. I mean look at her mother. Look at how aggressive that woman was. If anu had dared to utter a word in Arya’s defence on the terrace I am pretty sure her mother would’ve beaten her to a pulp.

He is hell bent not to take Arya's help, he forgot he is what he is today because of Arya's help in past 6 months.

It's so infuriating to see they are ready on half a leg to marry Anu to any and every guy they come across without even knowing more about him. Which parents do such a thing !

It was way too over the top with all that shouting, clapping and sarcastic remarks. What toxic parents these two are 😠

On top of that she was so rude to Simran also.

Why can't these two have a proper conversation with their daughter instead of going ballistic?

So true. I mean no background checking at all, like they did with Neel. Anu ke saath ladka dikha toh ho gaya. He becomes eligible for dulha.

In new promo, Sharma looks hale and hearty and nowhere like a guy just discharged from the hospital and already ready to get his daughter married to a random guy they have just met.

This shows they don't care about their daughter's feelings at all. They know she loves someone else but they'd rather force her to get married to another guy.

Now she is forbidden from talking with Simran also.

Yup, Anu is so emotionally dependent on parents to be able to go against them.

And her parents didn't give her a single chance to speak and explain. It was all one way communication. They straight away gave their verdict.
