The way RCB was hitting back to back 4 and 6s, it felt like they'll cross 200+ ! GG played admirably and restricted them to 182, which is not exactly unattainable. Let's see how the other side plays out
Richa Ghosh: "When I was batting with Radha, I just wanted to build a partnership. It was important at the time, because we had lost wickets quickly. So we were just thinking about how far we can take the team till the 15th over. [On playing a controlled knock] Today it was needed. I didn't try to hit from the start because a partnership was important. So when it wasn't there to be hit, I was happy to take singles. [On Radha] She released pressure from me and we were both getting boundaries so we kept pressure off each other. Today the target is 183, so we can defend it. They will come hard at us but we'll try to defend it."
9.05pm It looked like it was going to be a long day for RCB when they lost four wickets in the powerplay, but a 100-plus stand between Richa Ghosh and Radha Yadav - who played her best knock in the WPL - has propelled RCB to 182 for 7. There was a flourish provided by Nadine de Klerk too. Giants on their part were excellent in the powerplay and even after that threw in enough quiet overs to ensure the Richa-Radha partnership didn't take the game away from them. There were a few dropped chances, something we saw in their last game too and something they won't want to turn into a trend, but also got key wickets at the death to keep the target lower than what it looked destined to be at around the 15-over mark.
138 runs is the most aggregated by batters from No.5 or lower in a WPL innings ever, bettering 133 for RCB-W vs UPW in Lucknow last year, led by 69(33) by Richa Ghosh.

Lauren Bell to Beth Mooney, FOUR, to deep mid-wicket
Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine are at the crease. Beth Mooney is on strike. Lauren Bell will open the attack
Welcome back. RCB-W in a huddle. And we are ready to go. The players are in the middle. Lauren Bell with the ball. A gully close in to catch.
Lauren Bell to Beth Mooney, FOUR, this is superb batting. Full on middle, Beth Mooney takes a step forward, makes room and then lofts over cover, such good batting.
Lauren Bell to Beth Mooney, FOUR, short of length on the body, on middle, Beth Mooney goes on the back foot and pulls to the vacant deep backward square-leg fence, short fine was inside
GGTW 33/0 after 3.2 overs.
Shreyanka Patil to Kanika Ahuja, out Lbw!! This is plumb. Kanika Ahuja wastes a review. Nice drift into middle and leg, then beats the flick of Ahuja as she gets forward, the turn takes it away from the bat and hits the back leg. Three reds. Easy call for umpire Ankita Guha. Lovely bowling. The drift, loop and dip. So good to see. Kanika Ahuja lbw b Shreyanka Patil 16(14) [4s-2]
Shreyanka Patil to Kanika Ahuja, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!
Given out LBW. Will Kanika Ahuja review? She does. Looks plumb. No bat. OUT.
