I guess I will never agree but understand the state of Mannat, DCP Ronnie and Neetu…. They only know what Vikrant did - he took the property away, he left Mannat at the altar with an allegation she accepted DCP ka proposal and has been in relationship with DCP and Dua is DCP and Mannat kid, he even sent the divorce papers….

Forget about society for a sec…. Why would they not hide this from Dua?telling the society that he is out of country wouldn’t that be a lie? Wouldn’t that trigger Dua to try and find her father? She would be living in a world where she would be longing for a father.

Only when all the vamps plan are unfolded then and only then if Mannat and DCP act like it is still Vikrants fault or if Vik thinks that it is still mannats fault then I would understand they would be at fault after that to hide anything….

comparing Ronnie and Neetu hiding VS Mannat and DCP hiding is also not fair…. Ronnie and Neetu actually stole a child. They didn’t know until Vish came back that she sold him. here Mannat didn’t steal a child. Infact Vikrant abandoned her …. I wouldn’t compare the two situations.

I am with you on this one Cool, Vikrant has to learn to trust Mannat. The onus is not on Mannat to prove anything.

For me both Mannat and Vikrant are at fault and until these 2 work together and for eachother and Dua, they will always end up on the opposite sides. Most importantly trust eachother and be transparent without lies.

Hasan as Gagan I miss him, he has treated Mannat compassionately since the beginning of the show. Hope he makes a comeback so there is some positivity in SM and another male character

So finally watched the episode. Foreboding and hints, strewn around, now which ones are red herrings and which ones will fructify, we will have to wait and watch.

SM side:

- Malla drops a glass, saving AR, from opening her mask. AR gets some kind of aura cleansing dhoop, & shows it specifically on Y's face. (In my mind, am warning Y, get away, you may be killed soon, this smoke is nothing)

- Date plan cancel, Ujjain plan on. Y is annoyed but can't do anything. The point for ujjain is Indore. Did i see a sliver of interest in Vik's eyes when he heard Indore? He knows the 'chef' is from Indore.

INDORE:

- DK-Ronny conversation. Ronny regrets his lie that caused such an upheaval in mannat and DK's life. If he had been honest, things would have been different. While he adds Mannat in the Babaji ka banda group, DK refuses, and says VIk will always be her BDB, but he is BKB for Dua. She is his daughter.

- Dua and Bunty's cute convo in school. Dua is plotting to go to Mumbai. When she comes home, there's a Christmas surprise for her, Mannat apologises. She is planning a Missouri holiday for the three of them (thoda dhakka laga, TBVH). Vahan pe, Vik was planning a date (definitely not platonic), yahan pe, a platonic outing with Baba, Mama and baby

- The flyer with Mezbaani is floating around, noone sees it. Mannat prays to Babaji to protect Dua, and says she is doing everything for Dua's sake.

- Neetu falls sick in between. The party breaks. And Ronny is very dejected. He says he used to be able to afford anything; and now he is having to depend on Mannat and DK. Mannat pacifies him; Dua is watching all this and decided she has to go to Mumbai.

- Mannat gets a call from mrs Sinha, with a good job offer in Dubai and she accepts it immediately. It is understood that DK will go along, for whatever reason, they are a family unit! His monologue is that Dua is his daughter!

In Mezbaani - I am not one to play ML vs FL. So we move to the other almost family unit- Vik and Yashika. She is looking sad, he apologises to her for cancelling the date. She tries to feed him but he refuses. She offers to help with the auditions.

In Indore - Dua is helping Ronny cook. She takes his phone ,and chatgpts info about travelling to Mumbai, decides bus is cheaper. She calls the number. In Mumbai, Vik's secretary is tired of answering 10 calls from one contestant. Y takes the phone, speaks very rudely. Vik is shocked at seeing this side of her (err, good Vik, kahani abhi baaki hai).

- Sweetest conversation between Dua and Vikrant. He starts smiling, hearing her talk. She reminds him of Mannat when she calls him Mr Vikrant Saluja Sirji.

This girl Yami is a find. Such long dialogues, she says perfectly, with the right modulation!!

- Dua packs her suitcase; pretending it's for Missouri / Dubai. Mannat is happy they are going to Dubai mainly becasue she can solve her money problems. She gives Dua permission to break her kullad.

Pre-cap: Vik sees Mannat in Indore.

Just imagine if Dua goes to stay with Vikrant for a few days on her own. Yashika’s reality would be completely exposed😂 It would feel like a classic Biwi No. 1 moment where the kids enter the father’s house and the GF true colors start coming out. Yashika may know how to act sweet to stay in Vik good books, but handling kids is a completely different challenge. Dealing with his real daughter, especially after the truth is revealed, will be tough for her and is bound to trigger her evil side. Vik attention will naturally shift toward his daughter, and that will irritate Yashika even more. Pretence never lasts long, and with a child like Dua, emotions are sure to overflow🤣🤣

Dua goes to stay with Vikrant he will become a different animal. He won't have time for anyone else. He will be like girlfriend for what Dua will replace Yashika and he won't have time for her. He can't be trying to get to know his daughter and bring in the girlfriend in the mix at the same time. If she was already his wife then maybe.

So the tension the episode created yesterday..was not unfounded.

Mannat has had a closure of sorts after having seen Vik with his 'happy family'. She is moving on in the sense not romantically with DK, but deciding to move to another country, concentrating on making money for her daughter & Rotu who are now her dependents.

Trigger point: She accepts DK as part of her family unit, without a thought. She is planning a holiday with Dua & DK, her shift includes DK, it seems unfair that she is so comfortable with DK. But what can she do at this point, what are people expecting her to do? She has a daughter to care for, and she has ambitions for her daughter in life, she has stepped up as the primary bread winner of the family. Dua is dependent on DK, and has been part of her life since birth. So far, Vik hasn't looked for them, why should she pin her hopes on him? Mannat's life is relatively simpler to comprehend.

More than Vik, it is unfair to Dua that she is hiding her identity. It can backfire on her, if ever any familiar faces clash in the future. Or Dua grows up and asks questions about Nana-Nani etc. Or asks about marriage photos etc.

Vikrant is in a complicated situation of his own doing. With him, there are bigger issues like Vish siphoning his money, yuvi being a stolen child, AR hovering above like an eagle. And he has no clue!!

My problem is with him; let him start feeling the heat on his own. Why wait for Mannat to come & solve his problems? Like when he saw Y's harsh nature today, he was shocked! ATP, his soul is dead; whatever he went through has deadened his emotional capacity. This time, maybe it will be Dua who will awaken that side of his.

Trigger: Why does he have a GF when he has not got over Mannat? He is tolerant with her, allows her into his room, she massages his neck. Let's accept it that it's a question of formalising the relationship.

DK here is a mystery. Earlier, I thought he was a tragic figure. This week, I am sensing a lot of possessiveness about Dua. Today, he said, he is Dua's BKB, Dua is his daughter, he repeated at least thrice. He is giving up his probably dead end job to move with Mannat & Dua. His character can move either way. Negative - Maybe to teach Mannat too, that she relied on the wrong person, just like Vikrant?? (just a thought). Tragic? Maybe to teach Vikrant a lesson?

Trigger: His dialogue at the end..."it is better that Mannat never meets Vikrant". It's not for Mannat, it is for Dua. Vikrant is a good person, DK knows it for sure, the moment Vish's spell breaks, Vikrant will be back, he knows.

Daman's post on the lyrics of the Shabad was very telling. DK can't decide he is BKB. Noone is God here.

Each time today, when Dua prayed to Babaji, the next scene was Vikrant. When Mannat prayed to protect Dua, the next scene was Vikrant. And right enough, when Dua goes on that bus, it is her father she is actually with her, to protect her. She is not alone, Babaji has answered Mannat's prayer by sending Vikrant with her.
