Yeah, I always think people of Rural connect to Indira Gandhi so much🙄 till today. Like fan following emotionally. 😂🙄. Mostly the older gen likes Congress a lot and vote closing there eyes.🙄
True, Congress is supported by the foregin countries. That's the reason Rahul like people talk shit about India in the foregin land. 😡🙄. There is no law to punish these offences against the nation. Constitution and judiciary is a serious joke in our country.
Indians can be fooled easily, that's the reason we were destroyed easily by Britishers, Mughals, etc.
Many things in India needs it's roots to be rediscovered and embraced.
I don’t blame the older generation. They’ve been conditioned to believe in the greatness of this party and the people at the helm of it. That mindset is hard to change at their age, unless they’ve been through something that disillusioned them years ago.
They won’t believe anything because their minds are trained in a certain way now even if you show them proofs.
Like for example, did you know we didn’t actually gain independence but dominion status in 1947? Or that for 25 years after the British left too, our security agencies especially those working on intel operations were required by law to share their findings with the British government and their agencies? And then we wonder how we had to fight so many wars within 25 years of Independence too? How we lost 1962 to China, when the terrain was literally ours and we had the advantage.
The mind boggles when it tries to make sense of how a woman who imposed an emergency on a whole country won the next elections, when she imposed the emergency as she was found guilty of committing fraud in the election that had just concluded.
It absolutely breaks down and is blown away when it tries to understand how the son of the same woman won the elections after her death, in the biggest landslide victory so far this country has ever seen. After all, she had imposed an emergency, had essentially raised a monster to consolidate her power and then fell prey to the same. Her son had unleashed a devastating and deadly attack on the masses to prove that he held the power in the wake of that event and despite the bloodshed he unleashed, he won the elections too? Nothing beyond rigging and stupidity explains these two things.
Thankfully the tides are turning.
We may just see it in our lifetimes that this lot falls from power for good, permanently 🤞🏼
Indians weren’t just fooled easily, they had sought the help of outsiders for their own petty squabbles and internal conflicts. Our ancestors have long since said these wise words - Do bandro ki ladai mein … the lesson was unfortunately not understood by their descendants, even if they memorised it and passed it down to us. We see the same sort of things playing out even today. The only difference is… finally we seem to be waking up to the wisdom and grasping what it meant than just memorise it like a parrot.
