I'll hopefully get to read #4 soon, because the wait time for the audiobook is still like 4 months or something. What are your thoughts on Book #1? Because while it's not my personal favourite, I will defend it with my entire heart.

Listen, I don't get the hate for Book 1 because I loved it. I read in this order - 3, 1, 2, 4 and 5 and I have loved them all. I loved Stevie and Zanders and Ryan and Indy & Rio! Gosh I just love the found family vibes in this series & while sports romances are not my favorites, I thought this was so well done in this series. The emotional core of it is never lost. I love Rio's hero worship of Ryan Shay!

Oh you know..

It's that Christmas to New Year time period where I read only light romcoms, no heavy drama..

So yeah re-reading Bridget Jones Diary after watching the movies multiple times already smiley31

Oh yeah I hear you. I’ve been reading Holiday romances all month! And BJD is a favorite - I recently rewatched it and it was every bit as enjoyable. Just the first movie though. smiley9

Hey Lizzie!!

Yeah, this month has been a mix of romance and crime as usual smiley36 more on the romance side.

I really liked Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren.

Maybe One day by Catherine Bybee was really good too.. it's one of those books that pushes even a silent reader like me to write a review.smiley36

Really liked Audrey Lane stirs the Pot by Alexis Hall as well smiley9 it doesn't have smut, one of the FMC is like an acquired taste smiley36 (sapphic romance)

How about you, any good recommends ?

I liked it smiley9. Rio has always been my favorite and he’s such a green flag really. I normally don’t enjoy second chance as a trope but this one was good and Liz Tomforde’s writing always sucks me in. Even Book 4 that’s my least favorite had its moments!

Paradise problem was good! Christina Lauren, like Ali Hazelwood, are hit or miss for me but this one I liked.

I liked Ali’s Problematic Summer Romance, but did not enjoy Deep End at all.

This month I’ve mostly been reading holiday romances for this challenge I was doing so have fallen back on crime/ mystery, need to get back into it!

Plus I’ve been reading mostly novellas this month - some that stood out were Snowed in by Catherine Walsh, One night, two holidays by Ali Brady, Flawless by Elsie Silver (this one was a re-read but I enjoyed it more this time around, Elsie is an auto read author for me!), Let it snow by Beth Moran. Oh and I read this one by Neha Chenani Khanagwal called I fake dated my best friend from her Oops! Series. Quite enjoyable and it read like a Bollywood romcom script actually smiley36

Oh and I will check out the others recs in your post. I loved Alexis Hall’s Boyfriend material but didn’t enjoy Husband material. So I’m iffy about their writing but I’ll give them another chance cos I just loved the first one so much! Thank you!
