Question: Is Dua 7 as yet? The competition has age restriction of 7-13. Was the leap 7years?

I know the competition is 7-13….but in my mind I had Dua as coming up to 7, not 8.

it’s Shruti’s death day and leap is 7 years, so Mannat must have been 1 month max pregnant at time of mandap (since terrace shaadi), so Dua born 7-8 months later, hence not seven yet.

And from my experience with children there is a difference in understanding of a child who is under 7 to almost 8, the latter having a very clear understanding of parentage, husband-wife sleeping in same room etc, where as Dua seems more oblivious of these things and innocent. Same goes for Yuvi and Bunty, all seem under 7yrs maturity.

But this is itv I guess.

As per Sharain’s IV, Aish told them that she is Arzoo. I think that’s why the breakfast table breaking of glass was done deliberately. Aish is observing Y’s actions and will eventually set her right. Malla must have already told her about her actions.

He went to see Neetu when she wasn’t well, and on the very same day had major MU with Mannat and Shruti died after which Mannat abandoned him and left the city without informing him. He also knows that his parents stood by Mannat and that they are one unit. He has been carrying all this emotional baggage is all we know right now. The rest of the story will be revealed gradually. Most importantly regarding Y, the makers have cleared her arc within the first week itself that she is GD. I heard her IV where she mentioned that she has known Vik for the last two years or so, which makes me think she must have done her research. That’s probably how she entered his life. I believe the one-hour episodes will cover all of this😂😂 At this point, it feels like she is minting money from Vikrant in various ways. Right now, everyone around Vik knows that he doesn’t ask too many questions, so they mold conversations accordingly. Aish however, will be keeping a close watch on Y.

I completely agree Daman with your pov on Vik.
I sense he was and still is very troubled but has suppressed everything without processing the events, discussions, confrontations, his actions and his feelings let alone what Mannat was/is feeling and RoTu that led to the mandap breakdown. He hasn’t rationalised his thoughts before freezing them, so is stuck where he was suddenly without any of his loved ones. Remember he only ever opened up with Mannat, perhaps a little with DK after he met and became close to him, but otherwise has no-one. Gagan seems to have left too, and no sign of Sammy either. He is just going by his feelings of being alone and ‘betrayed’ by Mannat, as Damian says, who chose to leave with RoTu and DK rather than stay with him. That, fuelled by M/V that she has moved on to a happier life, has turned to anger and resentment.

As I mentioned his room (and SM is exactly as was 7 yrs ago) reflecting his mind. Whereas Mezbani has been overhauled, reflecting that he has (had to) make changes to the business and has poured his time there.

So currently he works on auto pilot on business matters….hardly sleeps to stop any dreams….drinks coffee all the time. It benefits M/V for Vik to continue in this semi-functioning state to manipulate their rich lifestyle, so his interaction with them is limited to signing cheques and Yuvi centred. Yashika has researched him and assessed his weaknesses , so manipulates him through that.

Vik has turned his emotional outlet and getting any happiness from children, as Adnan said, kids are innocent and give unconditional love, and dependant on the adult. Unfortunately Malla has manipulated him by moulding Yuvi to be a spoilt brat, though Vik does make some attempts to instil morals and good behaviour, but it doesn’t work because that’s not reinforced by M/V.

Writers have purposely left the missing puzzle pieces in Vik’s past, immediately after the bedroom scene and how he has coped. The divorce papers will be a key missing part, all of which will probably unravel once Vik meets Mannat and his own emotions awaken/resurface.

Reason i asked was i wondered if she won't be disqualified after winning for lying about her age. Noone in the family saw the advert for the competition. The vamps are going to know who she is

awww being disqualified for lying 😢 I think Vik will overlook it, he’ll be as impressed at her cooking.

Doesn’t Vik want the Sinha’s to ask their highly acclaimed dessert chef to be on the panel?

Yes that’s the biggest worry, vamps reaction once they know Dua is Mannat’s daughter (and obviously his) so the poisoning and plotting will start in full 😱😡

Forgot to add this BTS: Y is emotionally manipulating Vik to move on, saying he needs a partner who will help him get rid of the past, or something along those lines. Malla calls for Yuvi, and he rushes back home. Y’s character is so clingy that she reaches Mezbaani in the morning just to be with Vik.

Indore: DK-Mannat-Ronny

- Mannat is nervous. DK tells her that Shruti found her in Mumbai, & she has many good memories associated with Shruti in Mumbai. Ronny asks her to do the langar in Mumabi. Mannat calls them her hausla & himmat, and they share a group hug. Very sweet. DK in turn calls her their opening batsman! Ronny tells her maybe shruti has planned this. Client sends two lakh advance.

- Mezbaani: Sinhas, Vik

Similar to BTS. Vik lets on that he is doing langar the next for a very special person, he considered her like his mom. Vik says, unko kho ke, he lost himself . He wants to talk, meet the chef.

Dua's dream:

She comes running into Mezbaani, Mannat running behind her. She brings M to Vik. She says..meet VS- my inspiration and meet my mother, my teacher. Both of them react with a slight raised eyebrow at each other's introduction. No conversation. Dua says hi bolo and DK wakes her up for school.

Cutest scene between DK and Dua..with lot of loaded dialogues, Dua lies that he was in the dream. DK catches her out, but Dua says you a re in my heart, you don't have to be in my dream!!

He gets her ready for school and is not able to tie her ribbon into a flower shape like her mom. When she knows she is not in town, She bursts into tears. DK explains very beautifully; that she has the responsibility of doing Shruti's langar and let's help Mamma together so that she can do her work and get money for Nani's surgery. Dua agrees!

Gurudwara scene:

Mannat is paying for the langar. Behind her, in the line Vik & Yuvi. The contrast in the upbringing is so clear. Yuvi is whining about the crowd, and loudly complains he doesn't like the place. Vik makes him understand that this is for his mom's aunt. Yuvi wants PS in return for behaving well, and Vik agrees. Y joins late, with a framed photo of Shruti, to maska maaro Vik, and he is very touched. Mallika & Vish are watching, irritatedly. He reaches the counter, & sees Shruti's name, wonders if....

Indore:

- DK packs Dua's tiffin, and leaves, when Bunty comes in. (I think DK has forgotten her project). Bunty shows Dua a poster of Junior Chef being organised by Mezbaani, they have to send a video audition!

I was quite upset at seeing Malla but particularly Vishakha at Shruti’s langar ☹️😢 😡

And earlier to the Sinhas Vik’s reaction and dialogue about Shruti and doing langar every year in her honour was touching. Her death has affected him greatly too, I wonder if they will show him reflecting further about the fiasco that occurred and him not attending Shruti’s last rites to give his last farewell 💔 (haven’t watched the bts)

Maybe this is for Vik to realise that she is not DK’s daughter. When M left the city, she was already pregnant. Maybe later, when his mind clears, he will check her form for date of birth.

V good point ….live in hope of Vik connecting dots in the near future.

I also keep meaning to mention Mannat’s mobile phone and red case/chef sticker is exactly as it was 7 years ago 😂. Perhaps will be another hint for Vik if he sees it during the hit & misses that it is Mannat💡 😂🤣
