I came across an old interview of ekta where she was asked about komolika and how she got inspired by. She said she got inspired to bring Komolika character after meeting one of her dad’s costar in her childhood 🫣😭

She was so good. Most of the looks she did on her own. She made the character iconic. Shweta said it was her idea of changing the looks and giving make over every time. She would do her own make up. lol just saw this comment now. I remember watching that interview. It was really nice. I loved how respectful she was to Urvashi. 
Coming to Komolika, she's an emotion. 
I was practically a kid back then. I don't think I ever really fully comprehend what those characters were doing or how evil they were.
But Komolika had a different vibe altogether. 
Her makeup, her expression, her BGM...
Aparna - legit scared the crap out of time on the episode she tried to murder Anurag.
After that, I used to sing "Ajeeb Dastaan Hain Yeh" to creep my brother out.

The way she came to her husband’s funeral the next day after murdering him was so She was shameless.
