1. She was a happy sweet outgoing bubbly girl before Abhir entered her life.
2. Then she fell in love with Abhir but she took a mature decision to let him go and marry her sister only for the sister to run away and her to marry the guy after he chooses to marry her to spite her sister.
3. The damage begins in the marriage as her husband lies to her and starts to see her own sister who was also his ex fiancee. The cheating, the mistrust, the loneliness and lack of love and respect from the guy she loves breaks her.
4. Years later she is back in her parents' house with her husband having divorced her and married the sister, moving away to Japan. For years she couldn't get over the guy and she seems to be permanently damaged, afraid of trusting again. Plus I doubt that Krish would fund her therapy at all.
5. When things change for the better, her ex returns and tells her that her sister is dead. The sister she was close to and looked up to was not more and that relationship ended on a bitter note.
6. Instead of standing up against Bansal family like Abhira and Kaveri, Manisha and Manoj chose to stay with them and let them lord over them. Plus Kiara being damaged and weak willed was forced into being reduced into submission alongwith her parents.
7. She is clearly lonely and depressed for years but her parents have done nothing about it. When she starts drugs, their reaction was justified but they should have known and taken better care of her after she started recovering instead of being bitter and nasty. Instead they were busy being cheerleaders of Abhira when entire Poddar clan has now been converted to Abhira bhakts.
8. She becomes friends with her ex and develops a secret relationship with him, leading her to be pregnant with his child.
Her going back to the ex is toxic but she clearly needed therapy especially after drugs track. She has seen many people going back to the toxic people she loves in her own family.
1. Bhuasa forgiving Phuphasa after years of abuse and accepting him with open arms.
2. Madhav, Shivani, Abhira and Armaan forgiving Vidya and Kaveri for keeping Shivani away for years. Madhav and Vidya are now a happy couple. Madhav doesn't even see Vidya as the other woman or even hate her. He is so loving towards her with no resentment. Shivani herself gave Vidya the equal status as Pookie's Dadi. Abhira forgave the duo even though she was the one who exposed them. She even took care of them for years in a chawl when her family clearly had a bunch of lavish ancestral bungalows in the city.
3. Rohit going back to Ruhi when she was still hung up on Armaan. It worked out well for them as they became happy with a child until Rohit's untimely death.
4. Abhira remarrying Armaan after he kidnapped their daughter and kept the mother daughter apart for years.
5. Tanya forgiving Krish for his awful behaviour.
6. Abhira and Ruhi finally moving on from their past toxicity and being close sisters and other mothers for each other's children.
There are so many examples of forgive and forget in this family. Some are justified, some aren't. No wonder Kiara went back to her ex.
