Thats quite a confession there. He is calling spade a spade. Must have been quite a difficult time for him though and I remember despite being so good in the movie, he was literally not given his due credit. Also makes sense how he gave no fu*k over the entire controversy surrounding Padmavat and goons threats.

even if they did pr games. the movie was all about Khilji. If Shahid's role was that extraordinary, no pr war could affect him in anyway. in the end audience chose who did better. and it was Ranveer and the climax jauhaur scene.

This post is ethically wrong because Shahid never mentioned any names and he featured in multiple projects with multi stars...and only agenda driven folks can come up with such hate baiting pieces...If you took your time to fact search instead of indulging in rage baiting you will know that Shahid and Ranveer have always been cordial after their Padmaavat stint....If he was so mad at Ranveer, he wouldn't have attended his marriage which happened right after Padmaavat....They were seen sharing a very warm camaraderie on the roundtable that happened in 2019 which is going viral now with Akshaye an all...

Here's the thing. Padmaavat was NEVER referred to as Shahid's Padmaavat even during the promotions...Shahid is very well aware of the fact that he took up a supporting role because the movie was about Rani Pamaavati and Khilji's obsession for her...It was always referred to as Deepika's Padmaavat...If anything, its Deepika who should cry about getting overshadowed....

Now Dhurandhar is being referred to as Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar NOT Akshaye Khanna's, the last I checked. Because if you watched the movie, you will know Ranveer played the anchor role with all the supporting cast headlined by Akshaye Khanna turning in brilliant performances...Only those who are judging the movie through the reels are making such absurd comments..

Anyway....Ever watched The Departed? Its headlined by a bunch of superstars...Can you imagine the silly fans fighting for who stole the show there? Every actor had his place in the story a without whom the story would fall apart...A good movie is a collective effort...Its silly during the Padmaavat time, its silly now - to pull down another actor be it the main lead or supporting leads just to lift someone else....

Wait for Dhurandhar 2....I am afraid, we will need more copium...

Exactly, shahid joined the movie 20-30 before they started filming, ranveer and deepika signed the film when they were still shooting for BM and 2 previous movies with him, so ofcourse they both got the stronger characters as they were offered the film first. Shahid had the choice to play ratan, no one forced him to, and then when he realised the character is not going to over shadow khilji then he started shooting jibes at rs and dp

He seems sour about ranveer and deepika getting all the praise and so is trying to create a story of them trying to hijack his character and screen time, which is nonsense. Slb only does what slb wants, he does not listen to anyone about how he shoots his films.

And notice how shahid is trying to blame just rs and dp, but not slb who actually shot and edited the film lol if you are going to blame anyone then blame slb, not two actors who were not in the editing room

Look at how every person in dhurandhar is talking about ranveer, saying how incredibly secure he is, he ensured every person he had a scene with shined, he never tried to over shadow anyone. Whereas shahid has had many rumours about his attitude and ego
