Regarding Angad, weight is not something that I wish to comment about because we don’t know a lot of things. There maybe issues cause of health reasons owing to erratic schedules, some other factors. I won’t comment about how someone’s dealing with their body when I have no clue about the details.
But dude can’t act. So weight issues are irrelevant as per me. Or maybe he can but so far his scenes have been very bland. We see him mostly staring either at Vrinda or whoever is in the scene and depending on the mood of the scene he either smiles to ensure we know he’s happy or he keeps his face straight to look sad or contemplative or whatever but dude is still bland as an actor.
Frankly Tanisha hasn’t impressed me much either. Also her character going from working girl to housewife has just not done her any favours suddenly. It would be absolutely absurd if she continues to stay one even post leap especially with twin children and a family of 9 to feed. Even now it’s impossible to understand how is that household running when we barely see anyone working. And even now they’re a household of 6 - Malti, her son, DIL, their son, Vrinda and Angad. With 3 more members under the same roof it will be insane to imagine how that place is gonna survive if no one works especially with 2 children under 6 in that home.
The least Ekta could’ve done is shown them moving to a different city but no… they’re gonna stick in Mumbai in a chawl rather than go to a tier 2/3 city with a lower cost of living that can help them get a bigger place even if the amenities are not that huge exactly. They could have been shown living in at least a 2 storey home even if it wasn’t fancy but could’ve certainly provided individual rooms for the 2 mothers and the two couples as well as one for their now teenage son as Vrinda’s nephew will be recast too.
But urghh Ekta and her poverty fetish, she probably will make Tulsi a beloved member of the chawl who is appreciated and respected by everyone there except for her own daughter and SIL who also happen to be her neighbours unless Pari moved back in at SN with Ranvijay as a Ghar Jamai. Gayatri wants her hissa but there that snake would be also hissing for his own stake by fooling a depressed Mihir.
Wouldn’t surprise me if the rest of the family isn’t exactly concerned about Mihir anymore.
Though for the life of me I don’t understand why couldn’t they have simply shown Shobha asking Tulsi to stay with her, be it in India or in US or wherever? She could deny Hemant by stating he would remind her of his brother but what would she tell Shobha? You remind me of your dad so now you’re no longer my child?!
I can even understand not staying with Karan Nandini at this point because this has opened old wounds and if Hemant is a reminder of Mihir by association alone; Karan is the very embodiment of the betrayal she suffered. That old wound has again been scratched open and hence Karan is not an option at this point.
But Shobha, Gautam, Harsh are there, why not go to one of them? Also, why is it that despite this absurdly huge family even now Angad is shown struggling post leap if Tulsi has to stay with him and Vrinda?
After the marriage fiasco it was understandable if the family didn’t reach out to Angad and helped him to move to a better place, establish his own business so as to not hurt and enrage Mihir further and make matters worse, but now, whatever is stopping them now?
At this point they should do it to spite Mihir and openly at that. Idiot Mihir himself can be shown as operating behind the scenes and sending someone as a benefactor, an investor in some kind of business that they want to start with Angad. Angad can be approached to be the working partner while the other person invests all the money; money that Mihir himself channels to them. Is his anger at Angad not cooled down even in 6 years? Moreover is it greater than his guilt? This way he can look after Tulsi, help his son, DIL and grandkids and also ensure that no one knows he’s involved.
But no… Ekta would rather have them still poor and in a chawl. Like dude, Angad can also get a job that pays well enough for him to move into a company provided flat. A company that is owned by a shell company which is owned by Mihir… but nooooo… Ekta doesn’t want to stop using that chawl set until it collapses on itself I think.
