You can feel the helplessness of not being able to achieve anything in one year, he is having a good meal which was handed over by a political entity because he didn't have enough money

Definitely. This was an out and out Ranveer show. This man has done once in a lifetime role forever to be remembered

I might watch it again on weekend

Hope they don't push part 2

There is clearly a deliberate attempt to sabotage Ranveer’s efforts and also part 2. You can see how the handles which are making comments are brand new and how they are making this one comment and running away…and if someone is appreciating Ranveer they are going after them calling them Ranveer’s PR…and the preparation for part 2 has already started with the comments like if Akshaye is not there we are not watching part 2…. Just watch these kind of comments intensifying around the release of Part2…Neutral social media is slowly catching on this and talking about it….The PR of Dhurandhar better be watching out….

Btw, Sanjay Dutt is not playing the villain role….why is everyone saying he is playing villain? He is playing the cop who is trying to cleanse Lyari from these gang lords…he is no saint but not an outright negative character either….Indian masses have no understanding of the nuances and subtleties…sabko ek stroke mein paint karlete hain.🤦‍♀️

I will still say it…if Aditya removed all the political commentary, the movie would’ve become a universal fan favorite and an absolute classic like The Departed…

What kind of political commentary? I think majority have been very subtle references and not much jingoistic of a vibe

Bhai, are you from his rival’s PR team not being able to digest his deserving praise?

What a pleasure to read your conversations smiley27

Just one thing: It isn't fair - imo - to put Dhurandhar and Pathaan under the same scanner...they are completely different movies as one is based one real events and the other belongs to the completely fictional ones (where one can imagine everything, like the James Bond and Mission Impossible movies). In addition, Dhurandhar very clearly is declared a "spy action thriller" while Pathaan is declared just an action thriller inside the completely ficticious YRF SpyUniverse (neither persons nor events are based on reality)... so, the entertainment-angle is also different... Dhurandhar has a documentary touch, which the YRF SpyUniverse doesn't have (and doesn't pretend to have).

So, both can exist in the same filmindustry and both deserve getting looked at in different ways considering their different objectives.
