I think 83's brutal failure effected him deeply, performance was top notch, don't know it didn't worked. Hinting towards his failures & how ppl write him off, he is silently just replying them with his work, Aye Sabass.

Nup, it wasn't the reason. Covid 1st wave was over, ppl slowly came back to work. It couldn't connect with audience.

Personally it was the first Ranveer film I skipped watching in theaters since 2015 and only due to Covid fear.
