There is a certain French gentleman in Vidya Balan's life. His courteous ada has charmed the Parineeta actress. She even flew out to Delhi to be with him for one evening... Hey before you get all the wrong ideas, the gentleman concerned was a senior citizen, who was so much in awe of Vidya that he wanted his son to take her out for an evening in Paris.
Louis Vuitton was launching its latest store in Delhi and Vidya was asked to inaugurate the store. Although she was well on time for the event, her car got caught in one nasty jam just ten minutes away from the event. Recounts Vidya,"It was so frustrating. There I was all dressed up, but then nobody had counted for the rain. It just hit us and traffic came to a grinding halt. Since it was pouring, I could not even walk up to the event".
Vidya made it after the press conference was over and she very graciously apologized to the waiting media. Post all the formalities, Mr.Yves Carcello, Chairman of Louis Vuitton took them all out for dinner. And whilst some continental delicacies were being devoured, Monsieur Carcello suggested, "Why don't you come down to Paris, so that my son can take you around." And with that he began to sing loud his son's attributes.
Vidya, if one recollects has always been linked up with her co-stars. Be it Sanjay Dutt in Parineeta or Shahid Kapoor in Kismat Konnection, Vidya has never really been single, so claims the tabloids.
