Yep and even thought they claimed season 3 is coming, Satam sir also said that they have to wait for whenever channel decides but most likely not happening.

To be honest they gave step treatment to CID in this season as well

I read between his lines. He said something like "It's channel and production house decision on whether or not there will be a season 3, though we are always ready" or something along those lines. That's a polite way of saying "yeah not happening".
