IPKKND EJ - Tag

🎉 Ek Jashn @ 10 – Then vs Now 🎉

Then (2015):
We were wide‑eyed fans, refreshing India Forums at odd hours, arguing over plot twists, dissecting every Rabba Ve, and writing essays on whether Arnav’s smirk meant “I love you” or “I’m plotting something.” Did they do IT 😉?The list of debates was endless…

  • We fought over how and why IPKKND ended – like it was a matter of national importance.
  • We stayed up all night chasing Barun’s interviews, titbits, and any tiny hint that IPKKND might return.
  • We replayed every BTS clip, soaking in the effortless chemistry between Barun and Sanaya.
  • We lived in a universe of FFs, OSs, and SSs — our own little galaxy of ArShi love.

Now (2025):

  • Once the mighty ASR who ruled RM, now Barun rules OTT screens with the same intensity, smirk, and swag.
  • Sanaya is still the sunshine of every screen she graces.
  • Their bond remains timeless — still the heartbeat of the ArShi fandom.
  • Daljeet, Akshay, Deepali, Jayshree T, Utkarsha Naik, Abhaas, Karan, Rajesh Jais, Pyumori Mehta, Abha Parmar — the Raizadas and Guptas pop up in projects and social media, reminding us they never really left our hearts.
  • Fans? Older, wiser… but still hitting replay on Rabba Ve like its therapy.

💡 Quirky truth: We may have grown older, but IPKKND hasn’t. It’s frozen in time — forever young, forever Rabba Ve. Watching Ek Jashn today is like opening an old diary: nostalgic, funny, emotional, and absolutely priceless.

❤️ ❤️ “Thank you to the artists for making these characters eternal — with a special bow to Barun and Sanaya for giving us Arnav and Khushi, and to the rest of the cast for completing the magic — and to the fans whose love keeps IPKKND alive even today.” ❤️ ❤️

❤️ ❤️Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..❤️ ❤️

I remember having mixed feeling about Ek Jashn. On one hand, the fact that Arshi were returning was a happy news.... but it being only 8 episodes long made me wary. I put off watching it for a long time... and that was probably for the best.

EJ had far better production than the show ever did, but the sets and clothes could not distract from the fact that there was almost no plot... or even heart in the series. They knew IPK fanbase was still strong enough to bring in viewership to Hotstar (that had just been launched back then) but it all felt last-minute and rushed. If I had watched it when it aired... fresh eyed and full of expectations, I would have been majorly disappointed. But since I waited a fair few months, and knew from other fan reviews to not expect much from it, I think I was able to enjoy the possibilities it provided.

A little sneak peak in Arshi's marital life and woes after 3 years... where I actually enjoyed the little updates on other family members more than I did the Arshi moments. Payash having a baby, Anjali becoming independent.... but most importantly - Mami siding with Khushi openly!! Yeah! Those made Ek Jashn worth it for me smiley10

How did you feel when you found out that Arnav and Khushi were going to return to our screens after 3 years of IPKKND? Did Ek Jashn feel like a satisfying epilog to IPKKND... or did it leave you yearning for more? Let the nostalgia hit as we all share our experiences about EJ... a decade later smiley9

When it was announced, I had very high expectations... But the episodes were okay-ish for me. I was just happy to see Arshi together again smiley36

I didn't watch it when it was on air. Basically joined this journey after, but enjoyed it. I can't say anything how I feel when there was a gap of three years. Arshi are the love and seeing them together in this show is a life time experience.

Happy, 10 to Ek Jashn! smiley40

Such a sweet post, and write ups. Made me nostalgic. Especially, this on- We fought over how and why IPKKND ended – like it was a matter of national importance." It's still on I guesssmiley37

Ek Jashn could have been so much better, giving more ArShi scenes, lengthier and all, but I'm also thankful that it provided some closures to some unresolved emotions from OG run, because of the way it ended. It showed Anjali having moved on, it showed PayAsh had some romance (:P) and mainly, Arnav reminiscing and giving nod to his and Khushi's moments and him being more in Arnavji avatar than ever now. Also loved Khushi's styling (wish they had more scenes of her and ArShi but I said that before).

I can't help but wish we get another 'Jashn' and perhaps show us glimpses of their married life 10 years from then, preferably with Jr. Khushi and ASRssmiley27

Thanks for the tag, Stuti. Great work by all of you smiley31

Couldn’t agree more! IPKKND is that timeless treasure we never outgrow — every Rabba Ve, every nok-jhok, every intense stare still hits just as hard as it did years ago.smiley42

Ek Jashn isn’t just an episode, it’s a feeling… a reminder of how beautifully these characters were crafted and how deeply we connected with them.

Grateful to the cast, the creators, and the fandom that still carries this legacy with so much love.

Wishing everyone a bright Christmas and a New Year as unforgettable and heartwarming as the world of IPKKND ❤️🌟

The link to Ek Jashn? It's available on Hotstar but other than that, I don't have any links. Sorry smiley18
