I think even the writers don’t know what to do with Pari. They don’t seem to have any logical progression of her arc as a character or a way to end her character either.

in my opinion Hiten has his own charishma and gauri is very beautiful .They both compliment each other in every way both on-screen & offscreen. But akash(ansh) seemed scary to me, to be honest .

Yeah ansh has a very creepy dark look.not conventionally handsome but looked okay with other casts

Manthan bhoomi even gautam karan when they were introduced had that positive side

Karan came to take revenge on behalf of mandira. He thought mihir pushed her to that mental issue state

Gautam loved teesha and later was with Damini

Manthan loved tanya and we could understand why he was that evil to do things. He and bhoomi were a team.

Bhoomi loved tanya and karan. She took her time to settle down, held accountable manthan, said she won't tie Rakhi to him but she did anyway

So these characters aren't pitch black dark. Just like normal people. They needed to give the same thing to pari. Maybe she really loves mihir and slyly manipulate him cause she thinks she's his princess. In that nuance would come

I think Ekta is not at fault here completely. The channels now push makers to make meme worthy shows too. They think the more a show can be hammed through, the more memes it can produce the more the show is popular. How they think that translates into actual TRP and money is beyond me though, but in this quest for memes they have stopped casting genuinely talented good actors because it’s not that young generation can’t produce them, but they don’t get work. They want simple reaction shots that demand the bare minimum of expressions because they also want to pay peanuts to everyone from writers to actors. Ergo the decline in quality in every single sphere of production.

Channels would rather invest in mediocre writers who can think of absurd stuff that can be made into a meme as they cost peanuts than pay genuinely talented writers who can write complex characters and complicated stories but who wouldn’t come cheap. The same applies to actors as well.

After Shweta, Smriti, Divyanka, Drashti, Adaa Khan. etc the last ones who where good were the 2 Surbhis. After that I haven’t been impressed with any except a little bit by Bhavika. She is the only one I was impressed with among the new actors, but may be it’s also because her character in Ghum2 was written very well as ganja kinda write fls better. But she is still nowhere the same level as the previous itv actresses. Other than her, I can’t remember any actress among the new ones that I could like as much based on talent like the old itv actors

I genuinely don’t remember if any ITV actor has impressed me with their acting chops in the past decade. I think the last debutant who impressed me was Pooja Sharma who played Draupadi in Mahabharat on SP. She was phenomenal and Mohit as Mahadev and unfortunately both these actors made their debut over a decade ago.

Is it me or anyone else too finding Mihir’s scenes with the children including Mitali very well? Tulsi’s scenes were already good with rithik and now Angad and Parth as well. But Mihir’s scenes with Angad, Mitali and even the recently taking Pari to shopping in the car was so loving. He may not be a good husband but he’s a great father including a good father caring type to Mitali now

I think it’s a deliberate decision to include more scenes of Mihir and his children or those of the same age group. They truly wanna show that Mihir is not all rotten because his behaviour towards Tulsi in the past few episodes was horrendous and people started hating the character, they can’t have that, not for the main lead so they’re trying to make Mihir a more rounded and more complex character by incorporating his scenes with his children. The intention is precisely to showcase husband vs father dynamics. Also I think it’s a subtle buildup to that Mihir Vrinda dynamic that we are being teased with. They’re showing what Tulsi was speaking of regarding fathers being essentially similar to coconuts - hard on the outside but soft on the inside; who can easily get angry but have a harder time to display love when it comes to sons and the reverse holds true for their daughters. Only now they’re showing it instead of making Tulsi say those things which is the better move. It makes Mihir a more interesting character, softens people’s anger towards him as they see him struggle with his emotions as a father too like we recently saw with Angad.

It’s a funny and I suppose an interesting and yet appropriate coincidence that the last time around a male character was given such layers and attention was Mihir played by Amar and it’s Mihir again who is played by Amar who has a whole plot around him. There is a reason behind why Mihir’s death inspired the reactions it did - he was introduced from the pilot episode itself as the only member of the family who remembers Baa’s birthday and wishes her all the way from US by sending a voice recording. We are introduced to Mihir as a loving grandson, a responsible son, who also took care of his younger sibling and cousins. I guess they wanna show life coming a full circle for Mihir by making him seem a good father and eventually a loving father-in-law too. Though he missed his bus as a husband.
