Till now 20 doctors are caught. Can you imagine if doctors resort to this then can we ever trust anyone of them?? Till now no education card was played but this card miserably fails in this situation. Islamic extremism is the issue. These jihadis have it in their hearts, in their brains to commit such acts. Even their career is utilised to train terrorists, make plans and attack us

Someone here said almost the same thing to me - u misinterpret the verses. Read & understand the holy book for proper context.

And i was like why should I read? Aap log khud hi padh ke sahi interpretation follow kar lo to kisi aur ko aap par ungli uthane ki zarurat hi na pade. The onus is on you & your community not us.

I'm tempted to write a huge-ass essay on why no religion owes anyone a character certificate or the fact that faith doesn’t exist in a place where arrogance thrives, but lol, people believe what fits their worldview, facts be damned.

Verses and their meanings aren’t set in stone either. Fanatics just cherry-pick the narrative that suits their agenda. And because some unhinged losers claim they want to “protect/declare the supremacy” of Islam, it doesn’t mean they are warriors — nor does it mean the entire religion preaches that nonsense. Criminals are that : criminals; their self-serving opinions shouldn’t even matter in the first place.

Also, why the “OMG, she was a doctor” rhetoric? We’ve seen doctors implicated in the worst kinds of crimes — rape, trafficking, child rackets — the list is long and ugly. And on the other hand, we’ve also seen doctors during COVID being front line workers, risking everything, working brutal shifts so strangers could make it back home to their own families. They had people waiting for them too, yet they still showed up.

A job title doesn’t make you moral or immoral — and it sure as hell doesn’t prove you are.

It does matter though... Saying that a criminal's self opinion is not important is equal to saying let's turn a blind eye and shut down our ears to what motivated him to become a criminal at first place... what background he came from, what education was fed into his head .... are these things not important ? .... First of all there is a difference between terrorism, crime and organized crime... Terrorism has a political, ideological and social objective just as in this case.... The terrorist is on record saying that it was not a suicide operation.. It was a martyrdom operation.. What exactly or at least what exactly he thought he was getting martyred for ???

People may die for various reasons... Someone may die because of road rash.. Someone may die because randomly he got shot down by some mad man, someone could get raped and killed... No one can reduce the pain of the family who looses their loved ones be it in a road accident or a murder or a terrorist attack like this... However policymakers, law upholders or simple debating people like us, at least have this much responsibility to not look away at the root cause of each issue that persists in the society... You cannot fix Bhagwat Gita or even for that matter Quran to fix the issue of persistent road rash killings. You need better traffic rules, better implementation for that.... Similarly when an act is motivated by the verses of a religion, those verses have 2 be called out... Terrorists do what they do for very specific religious reasons... Religion cannot be put out of this debate if the society is genuinely serious about solving this problem.. Ideally the solutions should have come from the concerned community itself, because at the end of the day it is their children who are being taught to blast themselves off and claim innocent lives along with them... But since that is not there it becomes imperative for others to do so...

Regarding why people feel surprised to see doctors committing such acts.. Well because doctors are supposed to be science people.. Science seeks, not just blindly believes, even if it is said by sacred books... Yes some doctors turn out to be worse yet the purpose of science is to keep exploring, knowing more and more about the existence... Even if there is a heaven.. A person of science is expected to bring the knowledge of that heaven to this Earth so that all can benefit.smiley36.. Even in those cases where doctors turn of to be organ / drug traffickers people feels shocked .. How can a doctor who is supposed to save lives do this..? That expression of disbelief is always there..

If only instead of playing victim evertime and urging others for better understanding they took measures to control the problematic elements within their community...
