Not with her husband behaving like he was with her already keeping her distracted and her mind preoccupied, stressed and confused, with the tension of her daughter’s choice of groom and her upcoming nuptials adding to her anxiety.

She was never shown as supportive of Angad marrying a wrong girl just to please Mihir and his ego.

Had Angad given her the time and went to her when he started suspecting Mittali this disaster could have been avoided because they might have had a better opportunity to make sure that when they call off the wedding, Mittali’s truth is held responsible and accountable ensuring no one sees the broken engagement as Angad’s fault; not even Mihir, especially Mihir.

Angad had already made Mihir aware that Mittali had once spread false rumours about him having an affair with Vrinda. He had questioned Mihir about the basic foundation of trust and mutual respect missing between them, the least he could expect in an arranged marriage setup he accepted. This second time offence where Mittali also comes across as a gambling addict, a liar of the first order and as someone who would go to any extremes to avoid taking responsibilities for their actions especially their mistakes and crimes would have been the final nail in the coffin.

Even Mihir couldn’t have asked Angad to continue the engagement after that. He could have also taken a stand against Noyna and Suchitra without any hesitation or guilt or remorse had they pleaded with him and insisted that he make Angad understand and move past this whole episode, forgive Mittali and give her one last chance.

Because then the ball would have been in the Viranis favour. If Noyna had wanted to pressurise or coerce Mihir by threatening to break up their friendship and partnership, Mihir would have chosen his son’s happiness and decision over a friend he had not been in touch with for at least 38 years as it is.

That’s a no brainer. Any normal human chooses their own children over their friends any day. Especially when they know for a fact that their child is in the right.

Maybe Mittali is an unwanted child.

Maybe Mittali is an illegitimate child of Noyna’s with another man.

At this point we don’t know.

It’s also possible that if she’s divorced her husband, who turns up someday; she didn’t want him to have any idea about her having his kid, probably to ensure he divorces her without any hiccups as adding a kid to the equation would have messed up her chances of getting a divorce from him especially since she has said he loved her and wanted their marriage to work but she was not interested.

She could have even given him full custody of Mittali but she probably didn’t want him to have any child of hers either. She comes across as an extremely shrewd woman who manipulates people to achieve her goals.

She probably didn’t care about Mittali as much as she wanted but she didn’t want to give her up either, not when she felt she could have her cake and eat it too. So she had her sister pose as Mittali’s mom.

At this point they could take this anywhere.

She knows Ranvijay traps rich girls, exploits them and even abuses them. Regarding Mittali the only thing she knows is that girl is a gambling addict and a liar.

In her mind Mittali is a lesser evil than Ranvijay. Especially since Mittali is not likely to hit Angad or worse, and given that Mittali was expected to stay with her at the same home where the family would be around for Angad in case anything happens.

Pari would leave her home and end up living with someone who Tulsi has found out has abusive tendencies.

Also people dive down into the story to come up with reasons and situations that are neither shown nor mentioned while what is actually shown is that Tulsi didn’t put 1% of effort to stop Angad’s wedding of what she did while trying to stop Pari’s first and now second one . Anagd got slapped when Tulsi thought he is cheating a girl but Pari ek crime karke and ek family ko almost jhute case mein jail pohnchake bhi ek thappad nahi khao, care to explain why

So far there's no cohesion in the story line.

One week focused on Vrindag suddenly shifted towards Nohir when they needed more scenes together about their emotional hurdles, but yeah, TRP pressure in the end.

Sometimes Nohir more depicted as main leads with significant screen time instead the actual ones

I was not defending him but saying that a saner course of action would have even left Mihir with no choice but to accept Mittali is not a suitable choice of bride for Angad. But Angad never exposed her in front of their families. He went into this alone.

The reason why Mihir can defend Pari is right now simply because he is trusting his own child. Yes, he knows his wife is a woman who always is supportive of the right thing but he has also seen how that has led her to not just killing their son but also killing his mom.

They have made Mihir raise Ansh before, they are yet to show him bring up Savita.

Mihir’s aggression is overt and yes it’s beyond infuriating and makes you as a viewer want to slap some sense into him but he is also a man who has lived through the experience and losses of his son and mother at the hands of his wife.

The history of these characters has not been erased. Pari’s case is again what comes across to Mihir as a case of Tulsi acting on an impulse that has personal implications for everyone involved.

Does his heart know she’s right? Yes. Does his mind allow him to accept what she says right away? No.

This is again history repeating itself.
