shiv shakti got puneet issar as ravana..seems fun..but puneet stole the show in the combat scene with kartikeya...i think the ravana vs mahadev track looks good because of puneet and ram pitted against one another..

I feel that the show focuses more on Ganesha than Karthikeya. It was the same in Vignaharta Shree Ganesha, but that show was meant to focus on Ganesha, so that was fine.

Karthikeya with mixed emotions irks me, since He was never that way. There were some childlike moments between brothers but in this show it's a full blown existential crisis.

As for Shiv Shakti, I saw the wedding episodes and was flabbergasted... They literally got everything wrong from the basic fundamental story. The main thing about the wedding was that it was an arranged marriage but in that show Murugan eloped with Devasena to marry her. Why on Earth is Indra opposed to their wedding. He was actually more than willing. Why was Indra eyeing the lower realms? Makes no sense... The reason Asuras wanted Swarga was because of its splendour. Despite the riches in the lower realms they longed for the upper ones because of their brilliance. Indra was very much satisfied with his realm, why the heck does he want the lower ones? And what was that about him taunting Lord Shiva and the latter shedding tears...? The god who didn't even bow down to his father-in-law, shedding tears because someone lesser taunts Him? I think I'd get a migraine if I think about it.

I don't want to whine but their stories are beyond bizzare ...

@b: this is epic lol smiley37 where are they getting their inspiration from ? Because this is not present in any of the scriptures.

I'm not sure but if I remember correctly in DKD, they showed Indra actually wanted Devasena to appease Karthikeya and marry him ; no but why the heck would he oppose a match that made him gave him familial ties with Mahadev himself -- being Mahadev's samdhi was probably the greatest honor anyone could have bestowed upon him; even more prestigious than being the King of Swarga.

Make it make sense smiley37

Indra did not want the lower realms technically. He wanted to bolster his own position in Swarga that's all, matlab koi uski gaddhi ko na attack kare. His focus was only that imo. He didn't care if the world was on fire as long the fire did not touch Swarga.

Exactly!

"Make it make sense" is something I have been begging the show makers for in every scene...

The horrors I have seen so far is beyond sanity smiley39

Also Indra cannot be completely aloof to the worlds below his in the upper seven worlds... They are closely tied to his own, so he can't really be unconcerned.
