Never expected such a thing, 3 ducks in a row in Semis!

Anyway, Brunt and Alice are trying their best; great recovery.

South Africa Women won by 125 runs

South Africa will have a long break and they need to wait until tomorrow or day after to find their opponents in the finals.

Kapp is off the field with cramps. The break is good for her.

Congratulations to South Africa for winning the match.

Laura and Kapp who will take the Player of the match award?

They have buried the ghosts of the 2017 and 2022 World Cup semis and sunk England. Richly deserved too. And out comes Kapp from inside the dressing room, I can spot a tear or two on her face. What emotions and what moments as South Africa celebrate. Kapp and Wolvaardt the two guns in this team came to the party. One with the bat with an innings for the ages and then Kapp with the ball who took double wicket-maidens twice in the game to snuff out England's challenge.

Getting 320 was never going to be easy, and Kapp made that an extremely arduous task, removing Jones and Knight in the innings' first over. Khaka then accounted for Beaumont and it was always a long way back for England from it, despite Capsey and captain Sciver-Brunt registering fifties. Kapp finished with a five-wicket haul , with the others also chipping in nicely.

Spare a thought for England. They were very good through the group stages but when the pressure was amped up, they just could not cope. Something for them to go back and brood over but tonight belongs to South Africa, and their fans will hope that this World Cup, in a few days' time from now, belongs to them too.

Laura Wolvaardt, Player of the Match: Still feels a bit unreal. Sort of thing you dream about - scoring hundred in a World Cup, and in a knockout game. Special day. We knew the start would be crucial. Taz(min Brits) and I have been strong at the top, and when we bat well, it feeds off (the rest of the order). We identified early that it was a decent wicket, so wanted to keep going. Good support from other batters in partnerships too. Nice we got to a big score, because it was a pretty flat wicket in the end. (On her bating plan) Just going with it (the flow and momentum). In the back of my mind, knew I had those shots. Wanted to go till the 40th over (to allow Tryon and de Klerk to then accelerate in the back ten), and then, while I was there, thought might as well try to whack a few. (On where this innings ranks) Has to be at the top. Context of the game, World Cup semi-final, winning a game against a strong side, strong bowling line-up, has to be right up there.
