Tulsi was a homemaker and stuck to being one even when she solved problems or killed her son who just so happened to be a drug lord also. Her character never deviates from being who she is and not once is she shown as being ashamed of being a homemaker or thinking her independence and individuality is dependent on her earning her own money.

Here this woman is sometimes a wannabe dancer, then she’s a masterchef later becomes a reality show dancing star. It’s like she’s all over the place. Her first husband cheats on her, she makes the second one miserable by not committing to him fully and has other random men just pop up and fall in love with her out of nowhere who also disappear from the show overnight.

Tulsi never had to be shown as someone unsure of her identity and worse ashamed of her role as a homemaker to become iconic. Even when we had Anupam and that character played by Parmeet Sethi pop up, they didn’t just fall in love with Tulsi randomly to show her as some kind of incredible woman. She didn’t need other characters validating her to prop her up be it as a desirable woman or a righteous person.

From the little glimpses of Anupama that appear on feeds on Instagram or Twitter, you either believe she’s a goddess who does no wrong or you’re evil. There’s just no in-between. And anyone against her has to also be loud, OTT and just behave as monstrously as possible. Just like Anupama herself.

Payal and Tulsi sold their tensed relationship even as Samdhaans without a single one of them ever having to raise their voice. The tension was palpable and so intense, yet pulled off with such class and subtlety.

Even Kyunki’s villains are more classy and subtle than the actual heroine of Anupama!

Comparing Kyunki and Anupama makes no sense.

Be it in terms of acting, execution, storytelling.

Kyunki 2 started from where it left off giving a sense of continuity to the audience who were the regular watchers of the show in 2000s.

Anupama ends one plot, and then starts another which has no connection to the previous one making it at times come across as non-sensical.

Oh I know, there’s absolutely no comparisons involved but this whole controversy that could’ve been easily avoided had the team of Anupama not made a big deal about it, was started because of the question regarding comparisons and competition between the two shows. The whole thing was in fact being stirred right from the moment Kyunki’s return was confirmed. Influencers started making parody reels.

You cannot compare the show that had the whole country bawling for a fictional character to a show that is now hated by even a lot of its previous fans.

I have said this so many times.

She just keeps talking for so long, this is what pisses people off.

Her dialogues are too long, she's a new actress still, needs to work on her craft.

I still liked her in initial scenes where she was more immature before turning into dayan literally. She dominated so much in terms of screen time, it irked a lot of viewers.

She might be exposed or brought back into senses by Tulsi.

Barkha Bisht is an experienced actress, she could be a vamp pretty convincingly.

I love her, she's beautiful.

barkha is here to stay she's mandira basically

And pari will get bhoomi tanya treatment in the sense kabhi achi kabhi buri never too black like killing someone type. And mihir will mellow down too

I was going through previous pages discussion and realized ekta kept doing her work and remained at top since the start. Once her k shows were done she had kis desh, tere liye , the entire zee lot like pavitra rishta and all bhagyas, then she went to colors , in between sony. Work never stopped and her shows were on highest ratings. Even with the nonsense of dragged kidnapping hostage scenes of bhagyas, even with the disgusting two timing in parineeti.

Sony is anomaly only because the channel itself has very low reach

Trps this week are delayed to Monday (Oct 27) because of Diwali holidays.

Let's see how It goes. A lot of folks are gonna mistake them with Parvati mahasangham which would be released on Oct 30.

it should stay stable or collectively every show should stop by 0.2

So anupama should stay 2.4+- 0.1

Kyuki around 2.2+1

Rishta 1.7-1.8

Uka similar or 1.7-1.9

Anupama mostly don't change numbers so didn't take much variation. Let's see hoping for #1 this week

Yes, there are people who exploit using the guise of religion and beliefs but they most certainly are not limited to one religion as Bollywood and Indian TV is hell bent on projecting. They dare not say anything about any other religious group but will openly malign the one which is also ironically their largest target base as an audience too.

The propaganda is also done so smartly and subtly that unless you pay attention and know what to look for you don’t see it for the utter manipulation, contempt and psychological warfare it is to brainwash people into believing such things exist and only exist in one religion because they obviously never see anything bad or wrong in anything else. Sure, they might read something in the news occasionally or on watch some news bulletins but nothing sticks as much as such propaganda wrapped up in the guise of storytelling does.

There is a reason why Chanakya, the smartest and most savvy political guru that’s existed in our country believed that entertainers of any kind didn’t belong in the cities and had to be kept away from mingling with the society on a regular basis. He allowed them within city limits only for certain occasions, within specific areas and with fixed routes assigned that they had to adhere to and obey enforced by the local security forces of the area.

He believed entertainers could not be trusted as they could be made to do anything and a competent writer with brilliant actors could create plays that could incite rebellions, riots and rot in the country and society on the streets if they were left unchecked. They could be puppets of an enemy that would love to destroy you using your own people against you who would sell their souls for a few pennies or silks or sensual pleasures or something else that would flatter their vanity.

The man was a visionary who knew the power of the visual medium thousands of years ago and his assessment stands valid and accurate even today; unfortunately in an era where you can’t avoid entertainers as you carry them in your pockets and purses and could very well be one yourself for the sake of some likes and going viral!

Visionary mediums and books have always influenced people all over the world.

That’s why whenever in previous days there used to be invasions, the first ones to be arrested or exiled were authors or entertainers.

Famous examples would be Victor Hugo, Voltaire,Dante Aliegheri etc…

Yes because there’s a reason for the saying - the pen is mightier than the sword.
