Here, during Jhanak gen 1, some of the viewers actually claimed that Jhanak is a loose adaptation of Imlie..I could never found any similarity until the forced Simbulboni track since which it became increasingly clear that she is preparing the backdrop in line with Imlie or the OG Ishti to run gen 2. but one thing nobody can deny that Hiba was absolutely exceptional in the initial Kashmir part....She was just absolutely enchanting as this beautiful, sweet, simple, innocent, lively Jhanak who was still happy despite all her adversities in her mother 's lap...and in the company of music, her ghungroo while dancing oblivious to surrounding....and she used to sell flowers to earn for her education and had very simple dream of keeping her mother a dignified life away from the humiliation and it was a very big dream according to her...She brought alive a sweet, innocent, and resilient young girl in the lush greenery of Kashmir.Scenes of her rowing a shikara, dancing with ghungroos, or selling flowers captured a delicate charm and purity in her existence.Her dreams — simple yet profound, like giving her mother a dignified life — were beautifully conveyed through her glow, spark, and earnest eyes.

Later when her world turned upside down, her mother dying, her whole world getting shattered...and she without any fault of hers getting trapped in Tejas trap..it hit so hard that we all cried and rooted for her to find her happiness again achieve her dreams, excel as a dancer shocking everyone with her success...

Later when the character got butchered to an unrecognisable extent, the reminder of Kashmiri Jhanak was enough to keep our soft corner for her alive...This early magic created a lasting emotional connection with the audience. Even when later writing distorted Jhanak’s character, the memory of Kashmiri Jhanak kept viewers rooting for her for a very long time until it was just impossible

Hiba indeed had charmed everyone as kashmiri Jhanak that early magic ensures that Jhanak will always be fondly remembered..

But in case of Jhanak season 2 , there was no such initial connection with Ful or idk her name....why would anyone root for her and not for Aditi ...is beyond me 🤣

Yes...I second you..as the quality of writing deteriorated, Hiba struggled to hold on to the weirdness of the character, unlike Krush, who managed to navigate his character's frequent flip flopping with finesse..

I feel Hiba's struggle to keep Jhanak real was most explicit in the Simbulboni track...she literally appeared blank, clearly indicating the confusion she felt to bring the unrealistic changes in the character arc..

... Kashmiri Jhanak is Hiba's forte as in real life, she is a chulbuli girl...added to that, are the picturesque backdrop, a hint of a compelling story, and an overall relatable mood..

... regarding Jhanak 2, well, all of them can go to hell! Casting a better actor as PL with refined taste for fashion, having better chemistry with ML clearly shows where the PH's interests are..PL bhakti without much friction from viewers' end

Shipping can never be the reason of trp Dibyaji....online fandom and offline viewers both are different audience

Online fandom give popularity to these actors due to which they become star but offline one give them trp and opportunity to run for longer term of that show

If these actors will think that by dismissing the previous fandom they can grab trp is definitely not possible because both the audience are different

So actors should be cautious about holding their fandom instead of falling into the trap of PH misguidance and do damage to themselves only
