South Africa are on the up and up after having a shocker of an opening game against England. They've bounced back in some style, dispatching New Zealand by 6 wickets and then pulling off a heist against hosts India thanks to Nadine de Klerk's stunning blitzkrieg. Now against them is a Bangladesh team that's bogged down by concerns around their batting. On the field and with the ball they've shown incredible spirit, but it's the skillset with the bat that's not allowing them to take the game to the bigger teams. Is it going to be the same story again or do they have some answers? Stay tuned to know more...

Sekhukhune to Shorna Akter, 2 runs, comedy of errors out there. Very full outside off, steered to point and a big mix-up in the ring. Shorna Akter isn't keen for the single, putting her hand up to refuse but Ritu Moni goes charging past her, leaving her with no option but to go for it. Should've been a simple run out at the non-striker's end. However, the keeper lobs it well over the bowler's head, giving Shorna Akter the chance to not only make it safely, but also to come back for second. That extra run also brings up her fifty and her teammates are on their feet, cheering her on

Nahida Akter to Tazmin Brits, out Caught&Bowled!! Oh perfect start from Nahida and Bangladesh have removed Brits for a second consecutive duck in this tournament. Slightly short at the stumps, she tries punching off the back foot but it stops on her. Ends up chipping it straight back to Nahida who accepts a dolly of a catch. It's game on here in Vizag. Tazmin Brits c and b Nahida Akter 0(1)

Nahida Akter to Tazmin Brits, THATS OUT!! Caught&Bowled!!

BANW 232/6 (50)

RSAW 235/7 (49.3)

South Africa Women won by 3 wkts

PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Chloe Tryon

Nadine de Klerk and Masabata Klaas took their side home with some help from Bangladesh's fielders who dropped the former in the penultimate over. It eventually proved to be so costly for Bangladesh. A classic game and it's South Africa who manage to hold their nerve.
