It might have taken six days, but West Indies finally showed some fight in what was turning out to be another routine win for the Indians in the second Test in Delhi. Having shown some glimpses of fight from their No.9, 10 and 11 in the first innings, they came back with vigour after the hosts enforced the follow-on for the second time in the series. John Campbell has had starts in the series, but he finally converted into something significant of note, remaining unbeaten on 87. Shai Hope, another batter who hasn't lived up to expectations in Tests, is looking in ominous touch with 66*. Having come together at 35/2, the duo counter-punched first and then milked the flagging Indian bowlers to take the visitors to 173/2 at stumps, still trailing India by 97 runs. Day 4 starts with the visitors in a promising position - can they continue to bat well and set a reasonable target for India? Or having rested well, will India continue to punch holes in this Windies batting line-up. We are in for an exciting first session for sure!
