We are doing the work for BTRC oct as captains, not really sure what you mean by one captain could take the responsibility for the Book Bingo Challenge. Like crosscheck books, see which team cleared what line/color etc? Won't it be conflict of interest for the team leaders of we step in? (Ik Lizzie was in a team too, but she was a mod of the forum and organizer and hence expected to be impartial, we'd be under scrutiny even if we do our best)
If other bingo players are ok, I can just do my tasks while overlooking bingo and shreya can step in as captain for me (atleast for bingo)
Or we can just wait for Lizzie/start from scratch in another month (since we now know where we messed up and what can be done better)
To be precise, I’ve requested the captains to share a clear picture of their team members’ reading logs so that I can award badges based on those numbers.
I’ve also asked the captains to help me in compiling a list of the members’ completed tasks, this will make it easier for me to assign the 100 points mentioned by Lizzie. (Regarding this, some doubts are there, I have to read it once again, Horizontal line tasks, red tasks, etc!!)
If each captain can provide these details, there will be no need to make any changes to the current positions of the members or captains. I simply need some help in the form of assistance to ensure fairness and accuracy.
