Whenever I go to India, it has become very frequent for me to go to Shirdi-which is where Sai Baba grew up😊the day we left for shirdi, we went to a river that was very sacred but not quite the Ganges river. Over there, we performed some kinda pooja. I guess I was just too busy seeing that any mosquitoes don't bite me that I didn't really pay much attention to the pooja. There were atleast 50 flies in a very small area! Eeks!

That day, although we stopped to do the pooja and havan and all, we were in the hope that one of the main pundits would be there. But with no availTo make it simple, that pundit uses some kind of shakti that he has to tell us about our ancestors, who they were, where they lived, what they did etc. But I haven't got a chance to and hopefully I will one day! I mean it isnt spooky or anything, you dont actually call the spirits or anthing so don't worry😉😛

Has anyone ever done some spiritual kind of thing by looking up about your ancestors?😊

P.S: This isn't a religious topic, Shirdi has hindu and muslim devotees😊infact I even got blessed by a Muslim in some dharga(sp?)😕

Its a great place, and a great spiritual journey for me when I visit Shirdi!

Let me know of any of your spiritual experiences!

sorry I gave an example of Shirdi because that is the only time i;'ve ever come close to experiencing it and I was unsure if this was possible otherwise.😕

and for me, it always has been a religious thing😳sorry moderators but I know it can be known as a pagan belief too, all people do it, no matter what belief! And I agree, I think i remember doing some sort of Pooja at my house where the Mataji type person came in😕😆lol and basically that day I found out that one of my great great grandads or something died as they were bitten by a snake in 'old india'-when india was one.So we performed some pooja on it to make his soul rest in peace😊

I want to try this again when i go to Shirdi!

By the way this isn't meant to be a religious post, its just that all my experiences have been religious. It can be done by a lot of people in general, often people who can read whats going to happen in your life etc.
