Because of rainy weather not ideal for Twenty over contest, we even get more money in india than dubai or abu dhabi if we hosting asia cup in our own back yard

After 8 pm better in Middle East for all 8 nation player are in comfort zone, weather wise. we paid 3657 Crore rupees tax this year so make a note we not crazy for more money, our Revenue much higher than any test playing nation.

Why is BCCI so desperate to play with Pakistan ? I mean unke liye venue shifting is crazy. After everything they have a problem with us ? Wow.

I agree it would have been better if BCCI had refused at the very start but the thing is they never anticipated such public backlash. They were thinking that they will wrap Ind-Pak cricket match as Ind vs Pak, in general, as usual and the public will flock to watch. They had no idea that most Indian public wants nothing to do with a terrorist nation like Pakistan.

They could have still made ammends after the huge backlash and would have lost points, money & even the title but would have won our hearts. But they chose money & their ego over our sentiments. Now they have created a black chapter for themselves just for some money & their ego.

P.S. - Indian public tournament shuru hone ke pehle se protest kar rahi hai against playing with Pakistan but BCCI is riding on its high horse...too proud & greedy to listen to the general public

@b: phir toh I'm glad unka nuksaan hi hua. What beats me is the fact that all this money is basically peanuts to BCCI. They could have easily foregone and still come out without any loss. All this unnecessary ego trip/arrogance is ridiculous

Traditionally Ind-Pak matches have attracted highest viewership translating into highest earnings... Isliye to Ind-Pak matches bhi maximum times Sunday ko hi rakhe jaate hain kyunki people are free on Sundays.

Tbh, even I didn't have an idea that so many people are thinking like this in real world too. I realised it yesterday only when there were no firecrackers in my area on India's win. It has never happened before. Then today also I saw no WhatsApp status on India's win or clips / news about the match. There's total silence in my circle about this match.

Yes... Let's see if people soften their boycott by then or stay firm on their stand. This has probably happened first time on this scale regarding Ind-Pak match.

Same here. No insta/WhatsApp status, not much fanfare in twitter also. This solidarity is nice.

They are against match referee for no action against India on no handshake
