If the producer of the movie had been a BJP minister's son, the movie would have released in India. BJP's definition of patriotism is ban Pak actors but play cricket vs Pak because that money would go straight into Jay Shah's pockets.

Reminds me of what Pathaan said in the movie relative to Jim about 'if it was the son of a minister'...

As the (former?) banning of the movie in India had been the government's reaction to the Pahalgam massacre, it still intrigues me that nothing has evolved - as far as I know - in getting those who did the killing (yes, yes, I know, latter belongs to another section of the forum but there aren't news about that).

Are we really questioning whether this movie should've been banned or not ?? Wtf!

It should absolutely be banned and any actor even considering to act with any Pak performer in future should be punished under law . This should be enforced in strict terms.

No wonder there are so many sleeper cells of our neighborhood terrorist country with in our own.

Anyone even questioning these decisions, they don't belong to India. And they should be sent to Pak.

Also, I find it funny when resident of non Indian countries spew their garbage about our internal matters in Bollywood forum. Ofcourse they do it with ulterior motives. But atleast have some shame.

Honestly here Pakistan trumps us, their people blindly supports their country and here people are advocating release of a faltu ka movie with an actor from the terrorist country. wah wah smiley32

Last I checked no match is being with teh terrorists on our home ground. Dubai is not India. Even comparing it with this trash movie releasing in India is utterly illogical.

Where are the mods ? Is this Indiaforums ? Not just the movie, few people also need to be banned.

It's not that the Indian movie producer did something against Indian law because at the time the movie got in preproduction, then in production, the ban on actors with a Pakistani passport/nationality were allowed to be employed in Indian movies. In addition it has an Indian director and an Indian actress in the lead (and many other Indian crew members in the team. Also the movie was shot before the Pahalgam massacre and was scheduled for theatrical release... neither the filmmaker nor those having worked on the movie are responsible for what had been done in April or were involved in that abominable murdering.

I can understand that the ban on Pakistani working in the Indian filmindustry got renewed and also on Pakistani movies and social media accounts, but that movie had been finished before, so actually, mostly Indians got punished for not having done anything wrong/against a law.

Just to let members know here: I'm happy that most of the members here don't seem to be hostile to foreigners... Thank you for that. And thank you for India.forums to give also somebody from Germany a platform to write about Indian movies and also have an opinion about other things relative to India.
