Sorry but new chins don't attract audience to the theatre. He tried some gimmicks with stree 2, failed miserably. I think he should quit bollywood and stop wasting money on those chins

For some people, good acting is enough and people specifically go search RRR, Konkona - movies of these actors and watch it till the end just because of them. Are you really comparing this unattractive, untalented, annoying nepo kid with an actor like RRR ?

Stop this nepo rant at least for once. I am not debating on nepo and non nepo. Some people might search for Rao or konkona but how many will flock to theatres to watch them? No one. We all know how Rao's movies perform. And Janhavi isn't that good as an actress but not that bad as she is made out to be. She can never come out of her legendary mother's shadow and that's what killing her. But what's the excuse for Rao? He is getting movies left right without giving a single hit yet people seem less judgemental. Only because he is an outsider. Not fair

Actually, I agree with you about the "nepo" arguments (especially with the 'burden' of a legendary parent), but I won't agree with you about the look on the boxoffice-outcome to give a judgement (and also not on alleged plastic surgeries).

As I'm one of those who indeed chooses movies also because of an actor/actress (among others), I would always prefer a Rajkummar movie over a Janhvi movie just because I think that I'll get a good performance (the only let-down was his movie with Janhvi as Dharma restricted his acting chops in the endeavour to let Janhvi shine - which she didn't).

Janhvi got pushed into the filmindustry (Boney needing money???) without proper preparation, a damaging pr and a 'mentor' who thought he had a second Alia at hand. I feel that Janhvi could be a good actress with another 'education' and a director who doesn't let her do what I would call 'fake acting'. I could see it in Bawaal (in no way I go conform with the superficial negative reviews about that movie).

It doesn't matter. Even if it flops, she will still keep getting movies

Agreed. she was good in Bawaal.

But I think she should improve her acting skills. In Param Sundari, she was ok, nothing did anything great.

But she is a good dancer. she could focus more on her dancing skills.
