I am srsly disappointed in how this gen turned out in total . And I can't believe that my thoughts which I had predicted for abhira turned out so true. When armaan ruhi's wedding was cancelled and armaan proposed abhira. That time itself i felt there is a missing abhira is not getting as much importance in the story as akshu , naira. The story about abhira was only shown till shehzada was there. After rohit came. Because shahi changed the actor acc to his preference. The favouritism started there itself. Armaan was always in the centre and the story never never had abhira's side her feelings her problems . Even though they were actual problems not like armaan who creates problems . There is not a single track which has abhira in focus. It was always here supporting either a family member or armaan. .

Vidya was wrong she had an accident but she was released so easily . And there was grand welcome. They ignored abhira who was the reason she she was released.

Now abhira is getting tortured in jail and there is no to hel

Imlie 1 is a logical remake lol but who'll be the illegitimate kid here ? Armaan toh married both of them at one point so the illegitimacy doesn't come in here right ? But otherwise, it'll be perfect.. bas dekhna yeh hai ki if RS will go this route since itv is already swarming with multiple remakes of Imlie

Also the story has been veered off to armaan's side only now. Abhira is a side character now.We never got abhira's POV in any other storylines.Either she solves poddar kalesh Or is obsessing for armaan.Frankly after their second marriage the story is only armaan armaan

that's true. but rishta has already lost its essence nahi ? it used to be a show about familial values, a joint family at that, at least that is what gen 1 showed and it applied to most of gen 2 too, but I think they started loosing the plot soon after that but yeah I get what you are saying. Imlie is or will be a cultural and lingual shift from the traditional rishta universe.

If you see even in gen 4 abhira was from mussorie and not from a small village like gadhchiroli in ghum.Her character was modern and ubran centric.Imlie will be a disaster in gen 5

Can’t agree more!! Ab is sidelined in every track.. now she turned into absolute doormat with no self respect.. but Ar gets new wife and none of the poddars questions his actions.. now he becomes mahaan by fighting her case where writers forgot Ab was also a lawyer.. seriously disappointed with this show! This gen is meant for Ab to suffer while ppl who did blunders gets free pass..

Had started watching only because abhira was an amazing vibe. The kind of characters I love. And because she was an orphan I was so excited to see how they would show her finally getting a family , love, success in career , kids. And happiness since she was happy with the mother always in some trouble or struggling i thought they will show her journey of becoming a poddar A lawyer who works hard becomes famous gets suport from family. I could write a 10 times better story .

Which would only be about abhira finding a family. Because she was always alone.

And the irony is she always stayed only to solve problem of others and her side of the story was never shown

Every track is to degrade Ab! Now she became mistress bechari abla naari they could’ve atleast showed her accepting Anshuman while Ar already got married to pushpanjali.. but no they killed him for no reason.. such a worst track!! I don’t see any scope of Ab’s character..!! Better to end it and do whatever they want!

True that people who did blunders got away but don't you think even Abhira did some pretty bad blunders herself --starting with the fact she literally turned a blind eye to Vidya's actions because she was Armaan's mother ? Abhir suffered because of one person's ignorance and Vidya didn't even apologise ffs. Not just that, she literally had a hot moment with her ex husband who was engaged to someone else, while being engaged herself. Armaan is trash agreed, but Abhira's actions don't rank any higher imo.
