There was a glitch yesterday. Small details not being focused upon. ARS told Ani something like ek baar me tumhe jannat pe pohunchadun uske baad me teri beti ko bhi barbaad kar dungi but in the precap and the video capture mannat was showing vikrant, the dialogue was different. It went something like tumhe maarne ke baad me teri beti ko bhi jannat pohanchaungi. Lol, little details but important isn't it?

Oh my my Ayesha was fantabulous 😭😭❤️❤️ . I will honestly say this is one of her top performances. I complained about her voice modulation lacking in confrontation scenes in lost, but this was spotless and magical 😘

The realization, shock, panic attack where she is unable to breathe, feeling dizzy, laughing hysterically when everything starts making sense, the psychotic look she gives ARS when it finally strikes her why she saved her from the goons

Mona is honestly hands down the best villain who you can watch onscreen forever, sympathize with her and want to kill her at the same time.

Can't wait for tomorrow's episode I am gonna watch today's episode on repeat just for Ayesha.

Thank you for your amazing review, it prepared me for Ayesha’s astounding performance…… I can’t add much more to the very well deserved praise she’s received from everyone…… Ayesha’s portrayal of Mannat going through the very bitter realisation of her own mother’s deceit was incredulous and tear jerking! Hats off to Ayesha, I’m not surprised Adnan raves about her too ❤️

Mona was superb… bold sums it up…….

Sanjay/Anirudh required more to support his daughter in such an emotional breakdown …. Even if just to hold her hand or stand beside her would have shown connect.

I’m out at a wedding today so won’t get the chance to watch today’s but will sneak updates on here, thank you for tagging me in advance……. it’s going to be a blockbuster one!

PS loved Vik’s few moments on screen, Adnan was sooooo cute, I hope Vikku remembers just how much his Mannu means to him and to stand by her at her lowest…….. but ARS is the master manipulator and he’s a sucker for her deceit 🙁

What constitutes 'good acting' in emotional scenes especially when the actor is supposed to cry and mouth dialogue?

Reddit is very critical of Ayesha... always has been. Lately I saw some criticizing Adnan too... for his hand gestures and continous movement in such scenes.

People over X, here, lost forum... all have same thing to say... that Ayesha has improved... that in the crying scenes... her dialogues are not audible and only now has she got a hang of it...

This is my question...

Why and how should an actor portray an intensely emotional scene??? Dont we all look ugly and the speech comes out halted and garbled when some one is crying and processing emotions from the sudden shock/trauma/attack????

I have personally never had that issue... the speech was fine to me but I have always heard this about her.

Just because its an actor is it the necessary that the audience hears crystal clear dialogues and it has to be properly audible to us????

Where is the realism????

Ayesha with her performance in such scenes always manages to evoke intense reactions in the viewer... will it be possible if she is controlled and more conscious of what she is saying, how she is saying and how she looks????

Ayesha yesterday and Mona in Mannats arrival post Panmasala wedding had a small nuance... both were trying to pull something away from their throats ... Mona her jewelry and Ayesha her blouse... in a way signifying the suffocation they were feeling... that was a beautiful touch... 😍

And Ayesha was unwell, this scene was not rehearsed and was done in one take!!!! Absolutely brilliant display of her craft!!!!✨️✨️✨️✨️

Adnan acts not just with his voice but his body... he shuffles, has exaggerated hand movements, his veins pop up, face turns red... none of this is possible if the actor is not feeling the characters emotions... He has had 3 scenes (that I remember) where he cried and spoke... Mannats rejection, pyar ki gully after wedding and storeroom... in mezbani his speech was garbled too... by the storeroom situation Vikrant had processed a lot... and was quite clear...

NB used to generate spit in his crying scenes and his haters would criticize that... I didnt like the criticizm (edit) but never mentioned it then.

The only other example that I quote for reference is Katha... Aditi cried stoically... but that could be because since the start of the show Katha had lost her husband and son was dying with cancer. Katha was consciously putting up a happy face for Aarav. She must have processed those emotions multiple times earlier (before the show/story started... ) hence her responses were measured and not overtly emotional.

My question is this... should the actor be more careful and conscious about how he/she looks or should it be as raw as possible... to make it look real and raw but may have to give up on the clarity of speech???

Also the difference between voice of male and female actors... pitch tone and manner of speaking also matters...

Reaction to an actor's acting cannot be always objective. It is subjective. I most focus on story and rarely talk acting, but after reading your post, here is my opinion.

Adnan's acting when he is angry or emotional is quite animated ... that is his style, but that may not to be the liking of all, and it will not work for every character that he may play later on in his career. [I like his voice modulation and more of composed acting.]

I used to find Ayesha weak when she had to emote and talk (She is one of the most fluid actresses on screen). But she has improved a lot, and it just shows, she knows her shortcomings and is working on it.

TV is an audio and visual medium, your words have to be clear so that the audience understands what the character is going through.

At the end, everyone forms an opinion when watching something, and nothing wrong in that, just that it should not come from a place of malice.
