Devika seems to have no other work apart from visiting the toxic Shah House and constantly singing Anupama's praises. Even when Anupama was struggling with misplaced priorities after marrying Anuj, Devika never called her out. A true friend is someone who not only consoles you but also holds you accountable and gives you a reality check when you go wrong. On that front, Devika has failed miserably as Anupama's friend

Hmm so, Parag blames his mother for neglecting their dreams and pushing them to be successful. Seriously?

Vasundhara, in one of the episodes mentioned that her husband was an absentee business and negligent and brother-in-law usurped the entire property pushing them into poverty. She, along with her spns resurrected their lives and are now The Kotharis.

Parag flaunts his wealth around and was able to offer Onupama money because he had them. The poor Kotharisbwould never have been able to.

On second thoughts, had they remained poor, they would have been saved by Shahs entering their lives, may be.

Parag blames Vasundhara for being strict, strong, overly traditional and disciplined, almost emotionless. Agree, but had she not been that, she wouldn't have been able to hold a family together and they would have turned into nobody had it not been for her persistence. Nuclear families can be more open, lenient, flexible. It is not a luxury that joint families can afford.

Seriously, inko characters butcher karna hain, shaque se kar hi rahe hn. But galat concepts dikha rahe hn. Just to somehow elevate a hopeless, utterly bad lead.
