Question for gujju folks or anyone with knowledge about bandhej here:
I don’t live in India but visit Mumbai/Pune every few years. I have been looking for bandhej salwar suits, authentic tie dye ones, but all I see are Bandhani prints in shops. Can someone please guide me where can I get authentic tie dye bandhej shalwar suit and how expensive are they.
They weren’t too expensive around 10 years ago and widely available in Mumbai, but they seem to be replaced by bhandhani prints now. I have seen a few online and they start from 20k+ onwards which seems a bit expensive to me.
While I think there might have been threads and posts on Geetanjali/ Geetu, don't think she got much attention from the Gen 4 lead pankhas...
