It is an opportunity to diversify, we can't be dependent on a nation that we lose our industry in case they turn hostile

Our industries have to look for buyers in India and outside of it

Even if a trade agreement is made, Trump is not trustworthy, they are using tariffs as a tool to threaten sovereignty of nations

Trump wants nobel peace prize i think. He wants some leaders to praise him and say that he stopped wars. If they don't do that, he doesn't like to do trade with them.

Well yes it will hurt India in the short term, but just like water finds its path, India too will adapt, diversify, and chart new trade routes. Temporary shocks cannot derail a nation of 1.4 billion people with resilience and ingenuity at its core. What it does highlight, however, is that relying too heavily on the U.S. is risky - because Washington doesn’t seek true partners, it seeks submission.

India must therefore strengthen ties with those who respect its sovereignty, while continuing to stand firm on decisions driven by national interest.

I'm kind of glad it happened. It gives India an opportunity to look for other options and opportunities and build effectively towards them.

Every problem is an opportunity for the right minded. India will diversify and adapt. That's what it has always done . I've full faith in my government. Any set back will be temporary .

Our pm went to USA asked Americans to vote for Donald Trump. This means foreign policy of present govt is utter failure. USA has neither permanent friends nor enemies. USA work on self interest historically.
