Both I guess. But Ahaaan being a nepo kid, being such a good actor was surprising.
EXACTLY!!!!
The title song at the 4:15 part
It is rare, especially in Bollywood, to see two co-stars bring out the best in each other. Saiyaara leads have shown how two people committed to their craft can do just that..
Krish's oxymoronic tough exterior but intrinsic vulnerability wouldn't have found its rightful outlet if not for Vani's paradoxical delicate exterior but intrinsic iron strength and vice- versa. In portraying that both the actors gave each other ample space to showcase individual talent. That is how two real artists compete with and complement each other simultaneously.
So both...
P.S : The fact that both can emote with their eyes is a big plus too...
Okay I LOVE both but I am going to go with Aneet, because she doesn't have access to the same people and resources that Ahaan does. For a 22-year-old girl from Punjab, with no filmi connections, to be casted AND to pull off a lead role in a YRF-Mohit Suri film, is nothing less than a phenomenon.
Aneet didn't miss a beat, but I do think Ahaan in his first 10 mins in the movie, was a bit rough around the edges, his performance got stronger as the film went on. Although yeah, he's WAY AHEAD of other nepo kids for sure.
Both so talented and so gorgeous...made for the movies

Ahaan was definitely better
Kudos to them both man, they acted like seasoned actors in their debut film that too while performing what are clearly difficult and challenging roles to play. This was not some lighthearted romcom or silly fluffy film debut but a proper drama with angst and they pulled it off so convincingly that I would put their performances amongst the best of BW debuts I have seen in terms of acting.
Had they not been absolutely convincing in their performance this film would have tanked so hard. They both deserve as much credit as Mohit Suri and the music for making the film a success.

They say one rotten apple can spoil the lot, but Saiyaara proved the opposite. In an industry saturated with remakes, safe bets, and that...

this is kind of a big deal for a movie with newcomers and no big names.
