She is deliberately delaying her fight with Ani since she knows Mannat is going to come. They blabber like kids while having a gun in hand... which was very stupid IMO.

ManVik rain scene is cut short as said by others. Theres no hug which was in BTS. Rain stops miraculously and the car lights up yet they run to mezbani hand in hand.

Mannat reaches ahead of Vik? How? Gets hurt but no injury seen. Faints in shock mostly. Aish deliberately says acchha hua goli chuu ke nikal gai.. but again nothing seen on Mannat. Ani Vik panics. Aish turns the table. Vik hits Ani, he falls in pool. Police arrive. Ani tries to tell Mannat .. she does listen but Aish pretends to faint. Ani keeps repeating it while going away.

Aish regrets Mannats arrival because she couldn't kill Anirudh.

Malla is in her room... slightly anxious. Deepak arrives with coffee and Viks parcel. Malla opens it to find divorce papers. She gets angry and decides wont let it happen. Crumples and throws them away.

Back in her room Mannat is doing marham Patti for Aish. She does her usual drama. Thanks Manvik for saving her so that she can be with family. Gently caresses Mannat and calls her meri beti. Calls Vik a son like none.. saga beta bhi na kare. Gagan is highly emotional (absolutely foolish🫣)... Neetu remarks its not safe for Aish in India which is what Aish wanted to happen. She asks Gagan can we go home? Gagan agrees to go to London.

Aish then plays her trick. Asks Mannat to come with her. Spend time with her. Mannat is not okay understandably.. so is Vik... he looks sad.

Gagan tries to convince... Shruti also agrees, Mannat still refuses... Neetu catches on and suddenly talks about Maa beti ka pyaar. The idea is to keep Mannat away from Vik. Aish is ready to suffer Mannat in London if it keeps her away from Vik.

Mannat is not agreeing when a gentle nod from Vik changes her mind. She says yes but also that she will come back since her 'apne' are here. Vik nods again.

Precap is Mannat getting papers signed from Aish... most probably for a police case on Ani. Ravindar is back and Aish accepts she is Kans. Vik romancing Mannat and Malla vowing to kill Vik instead of Mannat now.

To people cribbing about EMA during Dahi handi celebrations... Mukta did answer. Had that faith in her. Vik has served papers and fast tracking the divorce. I hope he also gives it to Malla openly and questions why she opened his documents.

Let me add a little bit.

Why did Anirudh try to run away after pushing ARS? He should have tried to convince Mannat then, not after falling in the pool. The fear/anger in ARS then was missing when she pointed the gun at him after Mannat became conscious.

Hope Vikrant gets the divorce papers signed by Malla and submits it too asap. I am reminded of a certain show in the past.

Just watched epi, thank you all for the update tags, much appreciated… won’t repeat points but agree it’s so frustrating to see both Mannat and Vikrant even Gagan’s inconsistent actions…. but so good that ARS’s perspective and ARS/AS backstory has been confirmed for the audience…… now the fun/frustration begins waiting for our (to take @Purplegirls phrase) dumb, dumber and dumbest trio to begin realising this.

I have a question, if much of this week’s dialogue were a summary to bring new audiences on-board, why have writers omitted mention of the circumstances in which Vikrant was coerced into marring Malla, nothing of the fake rituals and namely the false ONS which tipped the balance - so seeing ManVik obvious hints of romance at the puja, Vik rejecting Malla, divorce papers being issued skews what we know to be the background…. I think as @Scarlett said some of it could have covered via a quick dialogue of Mannat jokingly mock Vik for his fake rituals etc. I get they are building up for exposing the ONS for a big kaand by Malla and in the meantime showing Mannat to have parked telling Vik, as shes prioritised ARS’s imminent danger and her father appearing on the scene.

Hopefully it’s covered in the maa-beti scene when Shruti guides Mannat before wearing her pendant at DH.
