Easily one of the best military movies ever made by Bollywood. As it was evident by all the praise it got from military personnel.

Sid took Shershah to Dharma and asked KJo to producer it along with Shabeer Boxwala (Junglee pictures). In KJo’s own words the movie brought Dharma a lot do respect.

Fun fact: When Boxwala was the sole producer looking for bigger production house to co-produce with him, Salman Khan approached him and offered to produce the film with him with his BIL Ayush starring as Vikram Batra. Boxwala said that the family was keen on Sid and they had already met with him so he couldn’t take someone else on now. Salman and Ayush accepted it gracefully.

I have a feeling an older actor was vying for the role too. Vikram Batra’s brother said in an interview that since Vikram was only 24 when he died he couldn’t be played by a senior actor.

He's so good in action, He really looked like a real soldier! After Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor this is my favorite war movie of all time.
