Agreed. Prarthana is the person who ensures that he is happy despite his trauma and flaws. She knows his story, the real him. She has seen his pain. He has laid himself bare, still her love is so that he can smile, laugh, be happy, not by hiding those parts but by embracing them and healing himself. She is the reason he is trying to process his trauma and overcome his flaws and becoming a better man with each passing moment.

If BM loved him, she would see that and accept her with open arms. Smita didn't need to be told twice. If I was in BM's place, I would have hugged Prarthana and flooded her with every bit of love I had left. That's what you expect from a mom.

I feel you! Smitha’s role has always been so subtle yet pivotal—like this quiet thread holding some of the truth and emotion together. That moment when she told Raunak, “Even when you think the person you love will always be there, you never know when they’ll be taken away,” feels like a glimpse into her pain and understanding of Shivansh’s family wounds. She never hated Shivansh’s dad, which makes her silence and absence from the household even more heartbreaking....and yes looks like she had manipulated Shivansh 's father against Smita exactly how she is trying to do against PraShiv......

And yes, BM’s manipulation is so cruel and calculated—pitting Shivansh against his own mother and then weaponizing that bitterness against Prarthana feels like a twisted cycle of trauma. If Smitha learns about the divorce, I hope she does confront Shivansh—not just as a voice of reason but as someone who truly cares. That moment could add so much emotional weight and maybe even start Shivansh’s path to healing...and ultimately Shivansh who made his hatred and bitterness for his mother the centre of his life.. will break the cruel pattern by BM bcz of that same mother

I’m missing Smitha too—she can be like the silent conscience the story desperately needs right now...

Also Ekta chose an amazing Actress to play Smitha. And I know as Gurdip says her character has many different shades and that would make sense of how her character shaped into who she is today all about power and money. But now her estranged son has returned. Where we see more layers to her character.

Also now if Smitha voices it Shivansh will listen and possibly he will be able to understand she is not completely wrong. Because what BM is doing to Prarthana.

Yes. It's so sad that both times (and even in Zaveri house when he stood for her, saying Raunak was wrong for barging into their bedroom, despite his own misgivings about the situation) he stood up for her, Prarthana wasn't there to see it, whereas she was present and listening and the direct recipient of his anger and mistrust.

She needs to see how fiercely he loves her, how he doesn't allow anyone to badmouth her, how he will love and protect her. She hasn't had that kind of love, she needs to know that she is cherished.

It really is sad that now we are dangled with the aspects of what if's though the show is supposedly ending, what a waste of an good actress. I saw her in OG Sanjeevani and she was so good there. Class act.

BM sure is interesting. I am not sure if this was always the intended character arc for her or the newest change to make Smitha more white shaded. In any case, both Jaya and Gurdeep can ace in any role that they play... so I guess it's a win for the makers.

But I actually hate that they took the typical route, I wish they had made BM more genuine. Even if this change was intended, it doesn't feel convincing enough for me.

I think it wasn't intended to be like that and that would have made a more compelling story, but looks like they took the easy way out. Jaya had even mentioned that her character was grey-shaded, and if you remember, even post-fire track when BM went to the Zaveris to confront Smita Smita looked guilty. All that vanished with sniper track and then after recent track when Smita visited Randhawas she threatened BM and made it look like BM was the main culprit.

It's lazy writing and such a shame because we had two fantastic actors who would have pulled off any shade of grey offered to them.

So my favourite moment of a banger and beautiful episode

THE LAST REVERENCE OF LOVE

The room was steeped in a quiet stillness that felt almost sacred, as if the walls themselves were holding their breath to honor the moment. The soft glow of dawn filtered gently through the curtains, casting delicate patterns of light and shadow across the space they once filled with laughter and whispered promises. This was their room — the sanctuary where their lives had intertwined, where countless memories had been etched into the very air. And now, it bore witness to a farewell no one wished to say.

Prarthana stood at the doorway, her heart a tempest of sorrow and resolve. Today was the day she had both dreaded and accepted — the final time she would see him like this, whole but fragile, after all they had endured. Her steps were slow, hesitant, as if moving forward might break the fragile thread that still bound them together.

When she reached the bed where Shivansh lay, peaceful and still in sleep, she knelt down beside him. The sheets wrapped around his body smelled faintly of him — a comforting, bittersweet scent that made her heart ache with longing. She took in every detail with a desperate tenderness: the way his chest rose and fell softly with each breath, the slight twitch of his fingers, the way the gentle lines of his face softened in rest. It was as if she wanted to drink in his very essence, to imprint every fragment of him on her soul so she could carry him with her when she walked away.

Her eyes drank him in — every shallow breath, every subtle twitch of muscle, every peaceful flinch beneath the veil of sleep. It was as if she wanted to imprint every inch of him into the depths of her soul, to remember him not just as a man but as the very heartbeat that had once made her world bloom.

Tears welled in her eyes, glistening and unrestrained, trailing slow, shimmering paths down her cheeks. Yet through the sorrow, a fragile smile curled at the corners of her lips ,the kind that only those who love fiercely and painfully can carry. It was a smile that held the relief that he was safe ,that held both gratitude and farewell, a gentle acknowledgment of the moments they had shared, the dreams they had nurtured, and the bitter truth that now separated them.— a bittersweet acknowledgment of the love that had bloomed and the inevitable parting that now loomed, a quiet benediction for what had been and what could never be again.

One solitary tear escaped from the sanctuary of her eyes, falling like a soft raindrop onto his outstretched hand. The coolness of it against his skin felt like a sacred touch, a silent promise. For a fleeting moment, his fingers stirred ever so slightly, a subtle flutter that sent a ripple of hope and heartache crashing through her. It was as if even in sleep, he was reaching for her — a wordless connection that transcended all pain and distance.

Naina jo saanjh khwab dekhte the Naina...

Bichad ke aaj ro diye hai yun...

Yun Juda hue kadam...

Jinhone di thi...yeh Kasam...

Milke chalenge har dam...baas bant te hai yeh ghum...

Each line resonated with the ache in her soul — the eyes that once dreamed together, now filled with tears of separation; the footsteps that once promised to walk side by side, now diverged and silent; the sacred vows spoken in hope, now shadowed by the inevitability of loss. Yet beneath the sorrow burned a quiet flame — the undying ember of a love too deep to be extinguished, even in farewell.

With trembling hands, Prarthana rose, every movement weighted with the heaviness of goodbye. She stepped back slowly, reluctant, her eyes never leaving him, committing this last image to memory. The room, once vibrant with their shared dreams, now held a solemn hush, as if mourning with her.

She crossed over to the couch, settling into its familiar embrace but unable to look away. Through the long hours of the night, her gaze remained fixed on him — steady, reverent, suffused with a devotion so profound it seemed to fill the room with a silent prayer. Every breath she took echoed the love that still lived inside her, every heartbeat a quiet lament for the future they would never share.

The night deepened, but she did not move. The world outside faded into insignificance compared to this fragile, sacred moment. As the first light of morning spilled through the window, bathing the room in a warm, golden glow, Prarthana remained there, steadfast and silent. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, but the gentle smile lingered — a testament to a love that was at once joyful and heartbreaking, fierce and tender.

In that quiet dawn, the haunting melody of a song whispered through her mind, weaving itself into the very fabric of her sorrow:

Ehsaas ki jo juban ban gaye,

Dil me mere mehemaan ban gaye,

Aap ki taarif me kya kahe,

Aap humari Jaan ban gaye."

Each line was a tender confession — how he had become her every feeling made flesh, a guest residing deep within her heart, the very soul that gave meaning to her existence. Despite the pain of farewell, these words wrapped her in warmth, a quiet celebration of a love that had transformed her, that would remain her guiding light beyond the shadows.

Prarthana’s heart ached with the cruel beauty of this final goodbye. The room around her, once a haven of shared dreams and laughter, now held the bittersweet echoes of a love that could never be forgotten. And as the morning sun painted his face in gentle light, she made a silent vow to carry him with her — forever etched into the deepest chambers of her heart, a love that no distance or time could ever erase....

He was her “Din Illahi,” her divine day, the light that banished every shadow within her soul. Her gaze softened with a devotion so profound it transcended words. In the depths of her being, she silently whispered,

Maan hai maahi,”a reverence so pure and heartfelt that it felt like the very essence of her existence. She longed to kneel before him, to surrender in complete surrender and gratitude.

Main toh sajda karun unko…”

her heart echoed in silent prayer, the sacredness of her love wrapped in humility and adoration. To love Shivansh was to bow before the divine, to honor the light he brought into her life even in its darkest hours.

"Jaan ban gaye" is their song....in every way

Prarthana’s love was a gentle flame that burned with unwavering faith — a worship not of perfection, but of the soul she had come to cherish beyond all else. And in that quiet room, bathed in morning’s sacred glow, her heart beat a tender, unbreakable prayer for him — a devotion that would remain forever etched in the sacred corners of her soul....

WHAT A PAINFULLY BEAUTIFUL SCENE IT WAS...GUT-WRENCHING ,HEART SHATTERING PAIN......

YET THERE WAS SO MUCH PEACE,SO MUCH RELIEF,SO MUCH LIFE....MAY BE that's why they say "love is life..life is love"

PRARTHANA,You are soooo soooo beautiful ❤️, epitome of love with so much vulnerable strength....

Pranali rathod was sooooo soooo beautiful...she was my Prarthana in that moment...our Prarthana....and we love her soooo much 💕

Same here even I didn't want her to be this irritating and overbearing, I wanted a genuine aunt who loves her nephew
