They were basically planning to stretch these banger scenes to weekend as they desperately need trp on Sat and Sun...as weekdays pe trp mil hi jaati hai.. weekend pe Kam trp ati hai unki.....

And in that process they were throwing anything and everything with half-baked execution

Behen I have no logically expectation from this show and they can change her reason for leaving anytime because it’s probably not completely decided. yes BM didn’t know why she left . But then after Raunak claimed he and Prarthana are having an affair and she came to Randhawa house to talk to Shivansh. She told BM she is not the same Smitha . She is not weak anymore. And she will take actions from outside while she BM had said she will from inside.
so I feel what Smitha knows and what she thinks BM knows can be different.

BM could have manipulated Shivansh dad or her family because she is control freak.
we don’t know and based on past Ekta show I have watched backstory can be changed easily.
