It was the way how Atlee showcased SRK's 'mass' - appeal that had been the big forte of Jawan as it also had been his own production focussing on a movie made the 'South Indian way'. SRK as a Hindi megastar collaborating this way with the South Indian filmindustry was indead something very special... and he did it with full dedication.

The way Jawan as a movie being criticised is nothing special...also Pathaan got a big share of criticism (and still was an exceptional movie in many ways)...it is the negativity spread that taints the award SRK got - and t h a t was/is done on purpose.

Personally, I got the feeling that the filmindustry itself is of the opinion that SRK simply deserved a National Award long overdue.

Cannot wait to see him in on stage doing his signature Aadaab while receiving the award.
