We will see if his experiment succeeds... 100 rupies is 1Euro and a bit over 1 US-Dollar...I doubt that he will earn as much as he would have done with selling it to a streaming platform but this way, it is always under his control and may boost his YouTube channel even more.

Aamir is wrong this time, he won't earn that much which netflix or prime was offering him from Youtube. Ye film theatres se nahi kama payi utna, ye soch rahe hai Youtube se kamayenge?

Youtube was meant to be free medium, that was the reason iski popularity ki & now you will charge 100 bucks? what for?

Yes, there will some who will watch it, but won't match what he was getting by releasing on OTT.

Ye koi game changer nahi hai, just that earlier we were paying Netflix subscription, ab Aamir saab ko alag se 100 denge to watch his films. Films which we can already watch on OTTs, he is bringing them here, that too by asking 100 bucks for each film.

Animal Film is on Netflix already, yet T-Series has released so many scenes on youtube(Free), even T-Series has uploaded few of their hit films free on Youtube.

Ppl won't like paying 100 for a film which they can watch by downloading from torrents or other sources jahan woh clear prints wali film dekhte hai. Even if there was no fee for Sitare zameen par, then also, there won't be that much craze to watch that film that it will create Records on Youtube.

IF it was like Radhe, coming on 1st day & asking 100 bucks, that makes sense like 1st premiere on any stream & you want to see it. Now film has ended theatrical run, ab again asking for money is senseless.

A lot of movies are on youtube on rent. Prime asks us to pay more money on some films even after we have subscribed to it. Sitaare is a very OTT coded film targetting the urban audience who can easily pay 100 rupees . Hence he is experimenting with this.

Yes, Films are there on Rent on YT. Nothing New, but they are on OTT as well.

Yes, We pay a EARLY ACCESS Rent if we want to watch a film earlier than usual Release date of that new film, after some time they come on Regular OTT Stream.

In both the cases, films are available on OTT at the end, where we don't pay extra each time we watch, here we will pay 100 every time if we have to watch SZP.
